Ignorance of what people are saying about us is not the way to go. We need to be aware of others opinions and what the media is saying so we can end the false perceptions of our movement, as well as get our message out and adapt ourselves accordingly.

They do these kind of articles just so they get paid for the "visits". In any case we're only helping them.

I'm donating double what ever EA/Bioware throws at me for DLC.

So far $20 in for the Children ! 

So far -$220 for EA/Bioware !
(convinced 5 people not to buy the game, +/- difference of my $80 bad investment)

Unfotunetely Paypal is the only option.  The only other choices you would have would be to link your bank account or to purchase a prepaid card.  But if you can't do any of that then just help spread the word!

The goal I am looking forward to hitting at the moment is $35,000 if we can hit that we will have given the equivelent of 1% of the total donations Child's Play recieved last year.

Even if nothing happens with the endings... it warms my heart to see the donation drive.

I spent a lot of time at Children's Hospital while I was growing up. So, I know first hand that the money is going to good use and the children will appreciate having something to take their minds off things.

Well I submitted several articles regarding this movement to CNN and various other media outlets. I've started getting replies back now. So far they are all generic responses thanking for me sending them the information and will forward them to the appropriate news divisions for consideration.

I've been trying to keep Destructoid in the loop. I've been a fan of theirs for a while, and it's hard to see them taking such a negative stance on this issue. I'm hoping that they'll be able to get past the kneejerk "entitled whiners" reaction and see what we're really trying to do.
