There are other great articles out there though. Don't lose heart over the trash that comes out of that place. They have been accused of being deliberately antagonistic to get more page views.

I am holding off on my own opinion of the ending since I have yet to beat the game.
Still I donated to support your cause as I feel it is a heartwarming way to vent your frustration. It is also my own little way to protest against those who feel Bioware ought not to add anything to the endings based on principle.

Talk about an ill informed game site, if 80% of the polls did not like the ending so far then I believe that they are well within their rights to request an alternative ending and people that don't agree are well into the minority. Also I love how this games site is saying ''it doesn't work of course'', since when have bioware commented in any of this? And frankly IDC anymore, bioware can just sit there with their hands over their ears because I am just happy we are doing something good now.

It's actually around 90% on that poll that don't like the ending. With that amount of people, something must be wrong. Sure you can say that only people that are mad are going to vote in it, but you can also argue that out of the millions that bought the game, an extremely small number have gotten to the ending at this point.

I have an idea for Luke Plunket and all the other guardians of the gates. How about they put their money where their mouths are and start a "Don't change the ME3 endings" Childs Play drive instead of belitling this one while firmly on their high horses.
I find it a bit ironic about how much game "journalists" **** about Roger Eberts snobery when it comes to considering games art but they act just like him. They know whats best for the unwashed masses.

I go to sleep and you guys raise $4000 while I'm gone. You guys are rocking so much right now. And to those who can't donate much, I'll say what others have before: Every little but counts. Though we may have had a few gigantic donations here and there, for the most part this campaign has been built on a lot of little donations, which the RSS feed can help prove. It'll take all of us together to hold the line, so let's get to it and reach that 1% mark and more by the end of today!

It's extremely exciting to see this unfold and I hopes it continues to shatter expectations as it has so far.

31,072 dollars and rising.

Incredible.

No matter what happens, what people say, or where we go from here, be proud. We raised in less then 2 days 21K without a very generous person and when we include 10K person, refuse to call 10k him or her they are above such shallow concepts, We have nearly raised 1% of what Childs Play earned last year, doesn't sound like much but it is 1% of 3,512,340 dollars, that is something to be proud of and I for one plan on doing this yearly, new endings, no new endings, and being bashed. Ladies and gentlemen and 10k person I salute you!

Hold The Line!

just found out about this. Glad I holded that 10$ on From Ashes DLC, now they can go to a good cause, and, hopefully, appeal a little to the way ME3 was handled.

I'm not exactly agree with that "request" bit, I feel it should be more of "we are people still holding hope to see a more fitting end to the trilogy we all came to love some day".Or I would feel guilty if devs won't change endings, and this will put them in a bad light.

And funny, how some articles just scream "You can't change a work of art in retrospect! This would spell a disaster for all creative people out there!", when all we hope for is a change to the game in form of DLC.
