So I just got Zevran and he has NO lockpicking skills. So basically, short of your PC being a lockpicking rogue, you are pretty much stuck with Leliana if you want to leverage that skill, correct?

Unless you give Zevran lockpicking.

Yeah, it's a class talent, so Zevran only needs to gain 4 levels for him to get max lockpicking.

I do think its a weakness. They essentially throw certain characters at you, due to them having skills that are difficult to get outside of your PC getting them.



I wonder what percentage of people play through most of the game with Wynne, Morrigan and Leliana.

I doubt many people playing Rogues would use that group.

I've been known to use that group with a Mage, but just as often I swap out Wynne for a Warrior.

And that threesome would be incompatible with my Dwarf Warrior for roleplaying reasons.

I played through the bulk of the game as my warrior with alistair, wynne, and leliana.

The annoying thing is Zevran actually says he can pick locks when you ask him what he can do for you, but he can't.  There should be an option to kill him for lying to you when you discover he actually has no lockpicking skills.

I gave Zevran lockpicking. He already has that talent that uses cunning as strenght, so it was easy to get him to become a good lock-picker and a good fighter.

Also doesn't the lockpicking skill/talent just give you a bonus to it? and you can lockpick but with the bonus you can do it with alot more success.
