1. That's stupid. I tried to think of a nice way to say that, but that's stupid. Never talk to women. If you romance anyone other than Tali, or multiple people, you can actually talk to her about it. Renegade. I'll tell you the speech if you really want to know,
2. Ashley actually has a rule against "fraternization," in case you for forgot that too.
3. Romance scene. Watch it. You need to. Honestly.
4. Never talk to women. Ever. Really. Seriously. I mean it. You don't get them.

Don't take anything I say personally though. I'm not as serious as I may seem.

*EDIT* wow apparently I ticked you all off. Sorry I "went there". I probably could have been more tactful in pointing out that Ash was away for 2.5 years..perhaps the romance scene debunks what I just said and if so, my mistake.

I went paragon for most of the game (except in certain situations). Guess I gotta try out renegade and see what happens.

And yes, I remember Ashley's fraternization rule

Also, I know I'm clueless about women

Ashley made it abundantly clear in ME 2 that she LOVED Shepard. That had an air of finality to it, so I moved on (and as someone noted previously, Ashley climbed an impossible amount of ranks in 6 months..do you really think she stayed faithful? ).

I guess there was a small intimate moment while in the hospital, but I was kind of hoping in #3 that she'd have a heart to heart with Shepard and make it known that she regretted doubting him at every turn, and still had feelings for him (so I could crush her by choosing a yucky alien instead). From what I could tell after my 1 run through of the game, she doesn't do this unless you're single and ready to mingle.

Be the daughter of a deceased admiral in a culture where military leadership is hereditary?
So at best you might suggest that Tali intentionally sent back functional geth parts to kill her dad and take over...

Fair enough. I wasn't trying to judge her romance but I certainly came across too strongly.

I'll start and end my comment by saying "I was hoping for more depth to Ashley Williams (romance or not) because of how they handled her in the second game. It would have been great if she either a) comes back and questioned you at every turn, or could have meaningful conversations outside of being in a relationship with her. Instead it was either relationship with her (which I haven't done and can't comment on), or have a one-line pony hanging out on the 3rd level of the ship"

I agree that her content in ME2 is horrible, but romancing her in ME3 answers alot of the things you stated in the post you made before, which is exactly why i called you out on it
