Also, make sure you take her with you on Chronos. You'll be doing yourself a favour.
Ash: "I thought you were unconscious... this... this sounds like more. How did it feel to be... under?"
Shepard: - snip - I'm sure I'm not just a highly advanced AI, I wouldn't have turned against Cerberus, otherwise.
When seeing the reaper larva:
Ash: "I wish I had been there"
Shepard: "You are here now"
Citation transcript theftBut I'll keep looking and posting these gems in our group. At least people who don't plan to take her on missions understand she does talk when you bring her along. And some of those comments and conversations would have been great if they had taken place in the Normandy.
yeh i probably should mentioned you paraphrased, but still. its just in game dialogue lol
I though it was necessary to show someone in the thread that they were wrong. This dialogue was just something that would help

son, when you get older, make sure you make a girl love you, and tell her you want a super srs relationship, then leave her for 6 months, cheat on her, and get another woman pregnant.

they should of kept the deleted scene, and made a dialogue tree where you chose what you want to say

I actually did take Ashley along probably for ~70% of the missions she could go on, I guess I picked the bad/bugged quests where she said little or got talked over by Shepard

"Why do you trust Cerberus?"
"I don't."
"Well maybe you do. What do you think about that?"
"Uh............so long, Ash."

The game also has a system where certain lines will be said by the squaddie with whom you have the highest rapport. But she has unique comments and banter in many missions like in the Cerberus Scientists rescue, the Geth dreadnought, Thessia, all the Earth attack stages... I've experienced James taking her lines when replaying certain missions with different squads.

I dont know what dialogue is special for other characters lol. Ashley is always on my squad, and my other squadmate is either james garrus or javik
Javik does mention the romance(s) but only when you talk with him on teh Normandy.
Yes Javik my Shepard is "joined" with the female human.

Tali is more interesting.
But Ashley was woefully underserved in ME3 that comparing the two is like putting both in a tennis court and handing Ashley a broken racket.
........Still miss Ashley's hair buns
She's an alien with a very alien background who has the gamer projecting onto her. Thereby missing the layer's of complexity.
Oh, she can work it on the dance floor while also overcoming prejudice of a race her people created for nearly killing them all, only to discover her ancestors painted her histroy with rose tinted spectacles.
Seriously. How can you not find her interesting outside of her relationship with Shepard?

Nothing in the consensus is believable at all, and you guys are really gullible for even listening to a second of that garbage.Oh, she can work it on the dance floor while also overcoming prejudice of a race her people created for nearly killing them all, only to discover her ancestors painted her histroy with rose tinted spectacles.
Tali only became interesting because of her relationship with Shepard. All of her accomplishments come from Shepard. Saving her ass time and time again. Fighting her battles, winning her was. Tali sits back and says a few lines while Shepard shoots things with her. Other than that, it's really just about quarians, which in turn are dreadfully stupid. Tali is as interesting without being a LI as any other Normandy crew memeber, not at all. Except Javik. Javik is interesting simply for being Javik. No one else is.Seriously. How can you not find her interesting outside of her relationship with Shepard?
