It is a shame that Bioware couldn't get permission to use Heinlein's The Green Hills of Earth. IIRC originally they intended for Ashley to recite part of that in Mass Effect 1.

There's a version of every type of Shep, I think? Kind of funny though with any of the ones who ran off on the Normandy.

Indeed it is, my favorite of them together, and I also know there are different versions of it.
Bioware, was it so hard to have this ending in the game? I'll refrain myself from further ranting about the endings.

Tali only became interesting because of her relationship with Shepard. All of her accomplishments come from Shepard. Saving her ass time and time again. Fighting her battles, winning her was. Tali sits back and says a few lines while Shepard shoots things with her. Other than that, it's really just about quarians, which in turn are dreadfully stupid. Tali is as interesting without being a LI as any other Normandy crew memeber, not at all. Except Javik. Javik is interesting simply for being Javik. No one else is. 

Mostly true, but near the end of the game you will get dialogue where she's taken on an "ambassador" role when she's on the citadel to bring quarian aid to military/civilian groups that are getting crushed by the reapers...I'd say that's more than nothing, and it's something she's doing by herself (though..I don't know if this particular dialogue is available if she isn't your LI)...how she convinced Quarian fleets to care about anyone other than themselves is...beyond me; I agree completely, the Quarians annoyed me. 

I have a really hard time understanding why they deleted some conversation scenes..it's not like they had an excess, or had to fit it into a 30 minute tv slot

The epilogue slides happens before the memorial scene. The Normandy taking off is the very last part of the game before the Stargazer scene, unless you have High EMS Destroy. Then it's breath scene then Stargazer.

I had read about that somewhere, but I hadn't actually read the poem, thanks for giving us the chance, it's really fitting with the ME universe.

I have a really good PC, the perks of needing to get a university education. I just don't want to give BioWare anymore of my greenbacks for the same games. I'll definitely buy any new games for the PC though.

I don't see why people care about a characters religion. Its the stupidest form of character bashing I've seen. You won't care about Liara and other Asari having a fake religion and always praising a goddess, but care that another character believes in god? Wow.

Ash never even says she's Christian.  Her God could be Apollo, God of Poetry for all we know

The thing is she's talking about god "the god, one and only" not gods or one of the gods. That implies she is monoteistic which usauly implies christianity for someone who looks like a westener or judeism or islam.... Unless there are new monoteistic versions that would count as major religions and not just a subculture/version of a faith.

Anyway, I'm not interested in being part of any religious stuff, making me what peopel woudl call an ateist, ateism is however a kind of belief based on the existance of religions where you debate the different beliefs.
As part of schooling I read about the different religions, (good to know about them when you meet those people) and then I can think it's hogwash all I like.
Least there is no state church these days that can penalize you if you don't attend church or priests comming to visit to make sure you are a good christian or whatever.

And yes, Ashley, given the interaction she was given on the normandy it actualy feelt better to send her of to Hacket in my second playthrough and read about all the good she did for other people.
Getting drunk on the floor was her only major interaction. And no interactions with the crew as far as I could tell.
Maybe the citadel DLC made it worthwhile to keep her, I'm not sure if she shows up if you sent her away... probably not.
