Not sure why you guys are fighting. You both got the same writer for Miranda and Ash in ME3.

Because waifus are super serious. This conflict was inevitable.

I don't know. I'd direct my annoyance at the writer. It kind of goes beyond "waifus". He didn't do a good job with Grunt either imo. Grunt ends up just being a garden variety drunken brute, when he there was a lot more subtext to his nature/existence previously. And while it can still be entertaining, he's been cheapened to the superficial aspects.

That's crap, Street, and you know it.

"I had a dream about killing aliens."
"Shepard, I had another dream about killing aliens.
"It's cool to kill aliens."
"Why do I want to kill aliens? It's so weird to do that. Who would want to do that?"
"Oh, Shepard it's normal. Now I can go back to having dreams about killing aliens."

Grunts dialogue is golden. Stop telling bs lies.

Why would you enter a thread discussing ashleys content and whether it was lacking, and post something about how you hate her and you think shes terrible. Its stupid and makes no sense. You hate her? Good for you, no one goves a lying f*ck, and theres no need for you in the thread

Because it fits the context?

I'm dicussing the topic. I've addressed the topic. And I'm keeping it on topic.

I fit the criteria perfectly.

yeah, keep telling yourself that.

Or you can make an argument to the contrary instead of making an appeal to ridicule?

You don't like my claim/statement. Therefor, instead of arguing it, you're trivializing and dismissing it.

That's a fallacy.

Is that from Citadel? Hmm.. never heard it.

Not sure I want to derail too much, but what I was getting at is what he represented for krogan in the big picture. Both him, Okeer, and the Shaman in ME2 had this philosophy of climbing atop the collective corpses of their people.. rising above their woes.. and eventually, and only then, will Krogan be wise enough to have their place in the galaxy. "Salvation through destruction" if you will. The Shaman went so far as to say nuking his planet was a good thing. lmao.. These dudes were beyond merely hardcore.

This whole avenue of Krogan went unexplored in ME3. Grunt was sort of the poster boy of it, and then he got reduced to just a typical badass. About the only thing I heard about this aspect of their culture was from Eve, when she said her pain and trials of becoming a Shaman were necessary.. that pain brings wisdom.

You come in her stating shes a traitor and you killed her and tainted her family name. Which TOTALLY has to do with the topic right?

Anyways, she isnt a traitor. She has the right to not trust shepard for working woth terrorists. I would feel the same if a former president started working with al queda to stop a greater evil (an analogy).

Added: she questions whether or not cerberus is controlling, which isnt even a stretch considering miranda wanted to put a control chip in you

She has the right to sure, but she was stupid to. Two minutes of rational thinking on Horizon would have solved the situation well in advance.

Well it's about Ashley and her content. I said I supported it, if only so I could troll her and call her out on her opinions more. That's on topic.

I think she is a traitor. Not for believing without evidence, but for rejecting any and all evidence on the basis of her belief and faith in the alliance. Cerberus can't possibly be right. They can't possibly have a point. They can't possibly have anything good to say. Only the alliance can. Only they can be right.

That's Ashley's logic, as I've observed it.

Your analogy also leaves out the possibility of why he'd be working with Al-Queda. As well as ideologically dissimilar intents (based on completely different values, with one being a far-right religious extremist group based on their incredibly narrow perspective on the Quran and morality, and the other being a covert human interests group focusing on science, political, and military advancement for humanity.)

The Batarian "Word of Light" fanatics are the Al Qaeda of ME. Cerberus are like a comic booky/James Bond variety of terrorism, at best. There isn't anyone that cool in the real world.

Well, they certainly didn't need to. At least not for me. I was always intrigued by them, and though I initially opposed to them based on their efforts against me.

Later, I saw value in their agenda, and even in their methodology even if their technical experimentation was often unnessesarily brutal and inefficient, though I do respect their idea of sacrificing morality and ethics in the name of achievement if the situation truly, truly called for it.

Lastly, I saw the need for them because of what the bigger governments, the people who were supposed to be doing something but weren't for asinine ideology and beliefs that were holding the galaxy back and keeping it obtuse and unprepared.

Ok my choosing al queda wasnt the best example, but my point stands.

She sends shepard an email apologizing and stating she was confused and angry when she saw him on horizon. Look at what i added to my post. Also, based on what she sees cerberus has done to their soldiers, she has the right to question shepard on mars as well

It's only half a summary then. The other half is about not necessarily caring about dying Krogan. That's huge.

Too little, too late.

She refused to listen. She called me a traitor.

It's damage control. By that point, she's been completely expelled from my Shepard's good side.

She's also proven that she's not capable of separating her emotions from reason. This means she's compromised as a soldier.

Not that she was ever technically qualified for the job to begin with, but my Shepard doesn't want her on his team due to this, along with simply believing her views and opinions will be a hindrance to his objective.

Look at what i added to my post. Also, based on what she sees cerberus has done to their soldiers, she has the right to question shepard on mars as well

What has Cerberus done to their soldiers?

Improved them. I for one approve, provided they can be controlled.

Where did that strawman come from?

I never said anything about a control chip.

All I said was that it was unnecessary for my Shepard.

Then that makes her an idiot who allows her emotions far too much control.

Also, based on what she sees cerberus has done to their soldiers, she has the right to question shepard on mars as well

Why? Shepard voluntarily went into incarceration, gave up her ship, cut ties with Cerberus, and had just spent the last several minutes killing her way through the Cerberus goons without hesitation.

How can you even be a Miranda fan and say that? That's where she eventually draws the line.

The only two badass Cerberus experiments are the ones most out of control: Shepard and Jack.

The rest are a bunch of dipsh!ts. *muffled helmet voice* "Taking casualities!!!"

Was it done voluntarily at first? Maybe it was unnecessary and uncalled for later on. But if they volunteered for the operation, I don't see what the problem is.

By control, I mean, can they be controlled without fear of succumbing to the Reapers or indoctrination.
