I don't see why people care about a characters religion. Its the stupidest form of character bashing I've seen. You won't care about Liara and other Asari having a fake religion and always praising a goddess, but care that another character believes in god? Wow.
I mean im christian (icing on the cake for an ash romance), and i have no problem with fake religions in games lol, but its stupid to complain about some one being a religious zealot because she mentions it once.
Ash never even says she's Christian. Her God could be Apollo, God of Poetry for all we know
you can interpret it however you like. I interpretted it as christianity. My point is anyways that people bash her for being a religious zealot when she only mentions it once
You'd have to be a religious zealot in her position. She believes in a dead religion.

It isn't. In fact, there is one lore entry where humanity extremists (i.e. Cerberus) assassinated a pope.
2171 - Pope Clement XVI assassinated via rosary beads coated with sodium
nonacetate and dimethyl sulfoxide. Death attributed to age and heart
failure. Replacement, Pope Leo XIV, has eschatological beliefs in-line
with militarizing humanity; forgiving attitude to salarians re:
genophage proves useful for strategic alliances against turians.

By that time frame I'd guess that Christianity hhas had a major drop in popularity, since the Bible by then will be alot less believable.

If the in the right context and circumstances, they can be.
There's nothing inherently wrong with doing it. If it advances our cause and helps us beat the Reapers, what does it matter?

She also really is the only one to judge you for your opinions on religion, specifically how they relate to her. I remember she reacted rather negatively to my Shepard proclaiming his atheism.
I remember what made me hate Ashley. She asked my Sole Survivor Shepard how he survived Akuze, and what gave him the strength to survive. I told her it was skill and my own indomitable will to survive. She immediately dismissed that as me not giving credit to a higher power by claiming that someone was looking out for me.

That was the problem yes. Before I elaborate on overcoming that, I want to congratulate you on not resorting to some crap morality argument.
Your point does indeed account for the inherent danger of working with Reaper tech. It's like the one ring, though not quite as extreme. It's very difficult to safely dissect and use their technology, but I think with proper precautions in place (which were rather arrogantly disregarded by Cerberus) we could create an effective means of combating them on the short term.

The hospital scenes were very nice but after that it was just bad until the end, with the final scene in the cabin and shortly after. Those were great. The cabin/bed scenes are just lovely because it shows how much Shepard cared about her and she cared about him.
Throughout the series I always had the feeling the developers favored Liara as Shepard's default LI. A lot of potential was wasted with Ashley. Same with the Citadel DLC, that was just horrible. Couldn't even invite her over.
She will always be my favorite LI though, beautiful inside and out, and misunderstood.

She tells you she thinks "someone was watching over you", sheesh. She's not judging, she's expressing an opinion.

Also I would like to pose a question to Massive, if the roles were reversed do you honestly believe Miranda would respond any different? In that I mean if Shepard had been a former Cerberus Operative and had been involved romantically or otherwise with Miranda during that time, and showed up after two years in the Alliance with some ludicrous story. Personally while I think Miranda would be more open minded about the Alliance affiliation initially, she would still feel pretty damn betrayed. Probably holding just as much if not more of a grudge because of it.
