My tweet to her: I've got nothing but love for Bioware, but those endings... I'm trusting Bioware on this one. Hope you do the fans right.

Her response: I appreciate your trust. That's an important thing to have and I don't think you should lose faith


While this means very little to most, it meant two things to me:

One, it gave me a little glimmer of hope, because at the very least she is implying that she knows something we don't.
And two, its really nice to see how polite and courteous she was, and that she is actually taking the time to address many of the complaints on an individual level.

Which is more of a reason why people need to stop being so disrespectful they are listening to our concerns and they dont deserve to be talked to the way they are

I think her biggest give-away at the ending is the obvious;
- "if you just finished today then I would advise that you sit down (AFK) with a warm beverage & think about it a bit Seriously."

Take the hint. Indoctrination speculations are accurate.

aye bless her for responding to you but bioware really need to look at damage control. our 'vocal minority' has grown beyond a minority and is actually affecting sales prices now ffs. If there is some grand plan to make up for this they need to get a move on before the damage gets worse

I for one have remained civil. Highly critical, but civil. Most of us here have been, in fact I've rarely seen people handle themselves well under such emotional distress, and yes this is distress.

I wouldn't take it as a promise, but rather trying to maintain good customer relations. Mad respect for Jessica Merizan, though, who actually takes the time to understand the community rather than mock them.

So Shepard becoming a Reaper minion is... better than the endings so far? 

Or is there some sort of angle to the Indoctrination argument I'm missing? Granted, the mind game aspect makes sense with all the "suddenly people are back on the Normandy which is in hyperspace even though it had no way to get there right away...", but still.

And yes, the outrage IS currently justified. Now, if Bioware fixes this... then the forgiveness will begin. But until then, Bioware and EA gets no more $ from me. Period.

That's actually not terrible news.
