So Shepard becoming a Reaper minion is... better than the endings so far?
Or is there some sort of angle to the Indoctrination argument I'm missing? Granted, the mind game aspect makes sense with all the "suddenly people are back on the Normandy which is in hyperspace even though it had no way to get there right away...", but still.
And yes, the outrage IS currently justified. Now, if Bioware fixes this... then the forgiveness will begin. But until then, Bioware and EA gets no more $ from me. Period.
You need to understand the fundamental point of the indoctrination theory.
Shep is being indoctrinated. Shep is *not* indoctrinated. You're in the middle of the process.
This theory holds hope of resistence. The endings have no hope, in the actual endings you ARE a Reaper minion, following the instructions of the Reaper god.
This is true. I also found this little bit on a blog. It explains quite abit of the early process.
"-When Anderson calls for Shepard at the beginning of the game, when
Shepard is talking to the child, Shepard turns back and the child is
gone. Shepard has been "snapped out of it".
-When Shepard turns towards Anderson after being "snapped out of
it", a growl is heard. In the third novel, when Greyson resisted the
reapers they would make a growling noise once they realized they didn't
have him under complete control."
