Come on now, stop avoiding the topic. You guys are avoiding the discussion because you know you can't counter what I said.

No, it's just that what you said was so monumentally idiotic that it's not worth the time to write up a serious response.

How is canon idiotic?

Great question. We should ask Bioware since everything in the last five minutes seems to throw it entirely out the window.

Although it doesn't speak of their view of fans' intelligence so much as how much they keep track of their own lore.

Edit: THe Mass Effect team, that is.

I dont know which is worse to be honest...

Is this the section of the forums where we assume every thread contains no spoliers?

Yes

i think the game put too much emphasis on the minor variables that would play a role in the galactic readiness scale. i think the choices we made in the first 2 games werent leading up to a specific conclusion like what we all thought, instead it played a part in how easily we would resolve future conflicts in the final game like the quarian/geth conflict for example.

granted i dont own the game, i just watch letsplays and read reviews.

Posted by: halomaster10144How can you enjoy them?  They're all melancholy and sad, along with lacking a real objective.

That's the point.
You are in the final battle to defeat the Reapers, everybody thinks that the Crucibal is a huge ship that shoots out beams or some crap like that to take down all of the Reapers.
The Crucibal lands on The Citadel, and then that's when you found out the only decisions to choose. Each would stop the Reapers, but in the end, you would still have to sacrifice your life to save the galaxy.
Kill one, save the rest. You can't change the purpose of the Crucibal. The Crucibal's only way to defeat the Reapers was one of those 3 decisions. You can't change canon to make the community happy, i'm sorry, but that's what the Crucibal is, and that's how you activate it.

You know this is a spoiler, right? On the non-spoiler section.

Thankfully you were clever enough to disguise Crucible with Crucibal, so now people won't know what you're talking about. :wizard:

The ending still sucks, and I understand everything that needs to be understood about it.

Cut the high-and-mighty crap.

How does the OP expect people to discuss his thread, when he won't even admit that he did wrong by posting this in the no spoilers section?

Why post spoiler thread in section that says "NO SPOILERS ALLOWED"?

Agreed!!

I havent even beaten the first Priority Planet and just from reading the forum I know what the ending is....

If you follow only one rule in this forum, please, please, PLEASE follow the No Spoiler rule.... (Although its too late for you....)

Your fault for reading my OP. Not my fault you couldn't resist clicking out of a thread.

Your fault for blatantly disrespecting the policies of BSN in regards to posting.

Folks, please don't feed this troll.

@ OP you clearly have not understanding of the endings either. You seem to have only posted this to rave and rant, because you think you are better than rest of us. It is always to sacrifice one to save many, that fact is not in dispute. The fact is that endingds have to many plot holes as it is. How do squadmates that are with shepard end up on normandy, when they were with shepard attacking crusible. Why did normandy leave sol system and got stranded on a planet. And how shepard ended up nbck on earth after citadel blew up. If you understand endings like you said than you can answer thoe se question and we all know you can not.

BS

the point of the Catalyst was to get the crucibal working, but then nope, the point of the crucibal is to show you the Catalyst. the Crubable didnt do sh*t! the Catalyst is what gave you the choices, andit has been around since the cycle started.

Alright take Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 3. In which game did your decisions make the most impact? Dragon Age: Origins since it's the only one that shows my effect on each race, party member and even some minor characters.

Why the dead squadmate appears on the normandy then?

What?

Maybe that was for you....and not everybody else?

Happens 100% of the time in the green ending. Not sure about the dead bit but they always end up there.

How they got from Earth through the largest space battle in history without a shuttle that got shot down earlier and docked with Normandy... Well that's just a part of the fantastic ending Bioware created.

What is there to understand?

ENDING (spoiler)

That's what basically happens.

(spoilers ) :

-All the Mass relays are destroyed and if we follow the logic from Arrival : Supernova says hello to our solar system, to Palaven and to countless other worlds in the ME universe.

-Fleet is stranded on earh, not enough resources to sustain all people.

-Normandy crash lands to some jungle planet, good luck to all my team members.

-Shepard dies (please no weak sauce explanations how he/she is breathing just before credits if you meet certain conditions. He/she's a goner to me).

-Oh and you have the option to turn every life form in the galaxy to some weird cyborg entity with green space magic.
