The news from Muzyka is better than no news, but two things rub me the wrong way.
"So many critics gave it a perfect score!"
Anyone who hasn't been living under a rock has known for a long time now that even the crappiest of games are hard pressed to get a low score. Most gamers I know look to user reviews and their own experience to judge a game, not by the overwhelmingly top-heavy reviews out there. You can't tell me money has nothing to do with it, either.
The second thing is where he eludes to the fact that the ending was what was envisioned and was artfully crafted by the team.
I'll eat my boots if that's true. They had to have been rushed by unrealistic deadlines. That's not something you want to admit but to expect us to believe it is something else.
I'll give them the feedback they need, not the feedback they want. There will be no personal attacks from me, and indeed, there never were. Just the truth.
Especially his doublespeak here and there. "The most ardent fans..."
"loyal fans" addressing the problems. Underlying tone is that everyone else seem to think it was fine. (Which may or may not be true, there are only so many forum goers, I respect that)
And then the classic nod to the team, sayin that they did a great job. (Which they did, tremendous, amazing, magical job...execept for the final 10 minutes)
