This thread was of great help to me when I first stumbled into these forums, distraught and looking for answers. Hopefully it can help others too.

If you're looking for even more videos, the guy that made the video review of the ending (me) made a video about the indoctrination theory, and it's here: www.youtube.com/watch
Now I've got both of them up, including the one you just linked. Thank you! So glad you've found my thread. I really liked both videos, they are a great contribution to the effort!
Edit: I have updated the Articles section with all the articles and tips I've been given so far. If I run into any more, I'll add them, too.
I have the content for the Grievances section done now, but it's still in my backup Google doc. I'll get it transferred over tomorrow.
Oh, and I have a new battle cry:
"Semper vigilans, semper fidelis, serviam." ("Always vigilant, always faithful, I will serve.")
Hold the line!

Kotaku: Mass Effect 3's Ending Disrespects Its Most Invested Players
Funny part? I'm friends with Chris Priestly on Facebook, and he "likes" this article. Hm...

Just want to mention that a lot of people complained (including me) that BW didn't show our war assets in action at the end: Hello, RACHNI QUEEN, I'm looking at you. Or Jack and her biotic squad, etc.
I'm including that in my massive edit. I'm quite perturbed that didn't show up, either.

I have to say I'm not sure I consider the Rock Paper Shotgun article as a "green". He states that he thinks the endings are a bad, but then goes on to say why people who want the endings changed are wrong.
I do love the part where he goes through the four points I put on the charity drive petition and says "This is true, but if you ignore something significant, it's not true anymore, so ha ha!".
Does not provide the wide range of possible outcomes that we have come to expect from a Mass Effect game
For the actual endings, this is largely true. The endings consist of three different coloured explosions, with the main variance being a couple of seconds of extra animation.
...
Ignoring that lapse though, Mass Effect 3 offers more than enough variation for any story-driven RPG to be proud of, and nothing has come close to making years old decisions still feel relevant in the finale.
So, yes, if you ignore the ending, it's a great game. Yes, we agree. But I am not willing to ignore the ending.
Does not provide a sense of closure with regard to the universe and characters we have become attached to
...
As for all this being ruined by the destruction of the Mass Relay network… well, it’s science fiction. There’s always a new way to fly, up to and doing it the old fashioned way and simply having it take much, much longer. The universe is still out there, just less convenient.
Well, sure, if you ignore, like he does, the whole Normandy fleeing thing.
And, incidentally, ignore the entire Stargazer sequence which makes it pretty clear that space travel is very restricted if not entirely absent in the future.
Does not provide a sense of succeeding against impossible odds
Up to that point, the only reason to think of the Reapers as anything
other than an unstoppable threat is that this is a game, and you’re
Commander Shepard.
Oh, and here I thought we were playing a game. Sure, if you decide the game should be unwinnable, his argument makes sense. But in a game, people strangely expect to be able to win.
Does not provide an explanation of events up to the ending which maintains consistency with the overall story
Yet again, this only really affects the Catalyst nonsense – which,
yes, is foreshadowed earlier in the game, but not to the point that it
matters – and to some extent why the Reapers are focusing on London.
Remove that stupid plot point and everything else becomes much stronger.
Yes, if you remove the catalyst, the game does make a lot more sense... which is pretty much exactly what we are arguing.
Sorry, had to get that off my chest

@Liber320 - This looks good, but I'm wary of the thread title. The mods are coming down hard on anything saying "PR" or "false advertising." Looks like this thread is going well, and if it continues to do so, I'll add it. I just don't want the mods to have any reason at all to shut this thread down. Right now, it's a delicate balancing act.
@Everyone - Again, thanks for the kind words! It motivates me! Well, the haters do, too...one of my favorite sayings is, "I love my haters. They motivate me." Lol!

Fair enough.
If it makes a difference, a mod appearently gave the OP of that thread permission to create it and commented in the thread that as long as everyone stayed civil, there wouldn't be a problem.

Yeah, I saw that, that's why I'm gonna think on it. I just don't want the mods to go on a thread-killing spree like they did a couple weeks ago, see something like that, them BAM! Lol. But I will keep an eye on it, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Good article. Forums are still so angry because we are all scared of what 'clarification' and 'closure' means. <_<
