I thought it was a pretty big issue with most players. After three games the galactic flotilla which is unique (to an extent) to the player,is largely ignored when we "Take Earth Back". Short of a cameo and some comms not much is seen of the galaxies denizens IN ACTION.
Now I could be wrong and the majority of players could be happy with the role their selected assets played in the final push. Im guessin Ill find out by any response to this post and HOPEFULLY an update to your list. It truly is a very crucial, yet lacking aspect in the ME3's ending..thats my opnion.
What do you think? ( thats a question to all)

OP not sure if someone has mentioned it in the past 54 pgs so I have to. Why no "Where are the assets during the finale?", or some such.. as a major grievanance??

If the Catalyst has been hanging out inside the Citadel this entire time, what did it need Sovereign for at the end of ME1? Couldn't it open the door for the Reapers on its own if it was in control of the Citadel?
Even if you buy into the Catalyst's logic (and that's a pretty big if), its solutions don't solve anything. Apparently destroying the Reapers just delays the "inevitible" conflict between synthetics and organics. We have no way of knowing if control will last forever. And synthesis just replaces organic vs synthetic with hybrids vs synthetics (after all, what's to stop the new hybrid race from just creating more pure synthetics?).
To be clear, though, the bigger issue is that I have to accept the Catalyst's logic and solve a problem based on a premise I don't agree with (that is, synthetics must inevitibly destroy organics). This ties in well with my last point...
They try to force an entirely new motivation on us literally at the last minute. We spend 3 games working to defeat the Reapers only for an actual deus ex machina to show up in the 59th minute of the 11th hour and tell us that we are A) Wrong to try to stop the Reapers and

What? You FORGOT??? Shame on you!!
All fun aside, I think someone had made a very good point of it somewhere here, but I think he was mostly focusing on your past companions and your 2 lines of dialogue at the comm console in the FOB. He also gave a good idea of how he'd pictured them entering the fray.

Quitcherwhinin', I did updates today. Put a "Regarding the Extended Cut DLC" part in the War Assets section, added more fan reactions, and edited the article section: moved some articles to the Archive and put up a couple newer ones.
