UPS got the billing information for shipping. (IE: EA paid for the shipping.)

I was told mine was shipped on Saturday but UPS didn't actually get the package until today. So alot of people who got notices that it was shipped this weekend, it was just a notice that UPS received billing information from EA. It doesn't mean UPS actually had the package as they don't pick up stuff on the weekends.

So, I was told mine shipped on the 30th but UPS didn't even have the package in its system until today at 12:30pm. UPS gets informed of your package before they even get it hence why you'll see "billing information received" when you track items right after you are told it's been "shipped"

The free shipping turned out to be 2 day air which was sweet though so it'll be here tomorrow!!

See how on the 30th billing information received and they didn't even pick up the package until today. Also yeah the EA site has been acting up the past week or so. They're security cert. was expired to!

My DAO PC CE will be here tomorrow.  I just hope that it does not require a signature (like my T-shirt from Bioware).  I am afraid that UPS might leave a message instead of a package if no one is home to sign for it.

I am very happy with phone customer service at EA.  Originally, I had ordered the SE with a 25 % discount, but in August I wanted to change to the CE.  I called EA, and requested to change my order while keeping the discount, and was given $20 off the $64.95 list price for the PC Collector's edition ($44.95  ). 

But their website does suck, and because the website sucks, EA customer service is likely getting hammered by an avalanche of phone calls as the DAO release date looms.  I was lucky I called in August when the phone was not ringing off the hook at EA customer service.

Sweet, was your 25% off code a birthday gift like mine was? The funny thing is though, my birthday is in March. But somehow when I made an EA account I guess by mistake I put my bday as September something! So my mistake of birth date got me a 25% discount! If I had put my bday in correctly, I wouldn't have got the code until long after DA:O came out. So I got lucky that I mistakenly put my bday as September. I got the game for around 48$!
