I seem to have a similar problem to what the Italian owners are having: when I tried to start the Grissom Academy mission, I pick my teammates and weapon loadout, etc, and then when it tries to load the mission, I insert disc 2 when it asks, and then the disc drive just stops spinning and I get a black screen. I have to eject the disc for the XBox to respond and take me back to the dashbaord. 

I had thought it was just a problem w/ that mission, after reading the Italian forum posting, but now when I try to start the Tuchanka missions, I have the same exact problem: freeze when trying to load data off of disc 2. 

I can load a previous save game, but I can't seem to play ANY side quests, which pretty much defeats the purpose of playing an RPG. 

I've been looking forward to this game ever since ME2, and now I can't play it. 

Has anyone else been having Disc 2 issues like this? Is it related to the Italian issue?

Happened to me when switching disks for a mission on Tuchanka. I couldn't even delete the save to get get around it. The option was grayed out.

Update: I took my discs back to GameStop for replacements, and I can now play missions from disc 2! Hopefully this isn't temporary.
