I don't hate Liara. She grew on me. But...

Not ONLY did she get ME 1 treament with romance scene, she got a lot more screen time than even my VS. So that miffs me.

I would not hate her so much if she hadn't been shoved down our throats so much. And assumed that everybody loved her, and that everybody's Shepards were super best friends or in love with her. Which is not the case.

However, I must say that so far in ME3, I find her pressence... tolerable. I still think her character development was poorly handled, and find her unsubtle increase in boob size disturbing. But, aside for the lovesick way Shepard said her name upon meeting in Mars, she's okay so far. Okay.

I was neutral to her in ME1. And disliked her since redemption/ME2. And I hate all the attention she has (Walters waifu) and despise her flashback (my shep wanted to see Miranda and Jack, but all he saw was the creepy stalker).

Oh you can do that. There's still a particular event towards the ending in which she will be shoved down your throat. Again.

I don't hate Liara. Never did, although she was pretty down on my "like" list, especially in LotSB.
However, she's now pretty much top, still no Ashley, but quite close. Her scenes are beautiful and she got some of the best lines as well.

Just 'cause I'm sad the VS lacked good generic / post-mission lines, I'm not mad at Liara or her treatment. Nope - I'm happy since Liara's story shows what could have been with the VS and several other characters with proper development.

That's true. I can understand all those people who had a romance with non-VS and not Liara - they get Liara instead of their LI. BW was quite lazy here ...

Unless you romanced the Virmire Survivor, you will get her in the flashback at the very end. Its...kind of a slap in the face. Romance Tali? Nope, your Shep is remembering Liara in his last moments. What about Garrus? Nope - your straight, though xenophilic, FemShep is recalling Liara.

Agreed. I do like Liara, she's sweet. But they did put way too much focus on her.

I don't in fact along with Mordin and Legion she's my favourite character, and to be honest never saw a general bad opinion about her in the forums.

you get up to go to the bathroom and the doll is just standing in the middle of the hallway staring at you.

I don't hate her at all. The moment I saw the ME1-style romance scene for her though, I just knew that would create a bit of resentment for others, lol.
