After finishing the Quarian quest line, I decided to go back and do some of the side quests before moving onto the Asari quest line. I went back to the Elcor ambassador on the Citadel to turn in this quest (since I had scanned the star system earlier). Instead of completing this quest, he gives me another quest. I thought, "No biggie. I'll just get a two-for-one." Unfortunately that didn't happen and I ended up only completing the more recent quest instead of this one. Anybody else encountered this issue? Right now, I'm rolling back to some previous save games that are 3 hours back (in terms of gameplay time) but if there's another solution (like using Gibbed's Save Editor or a Coalesced editor), that would be helpful.

There are 2 Elcor's and 2 missions with the dekunna. One is right infront of the elevetor in the purgatory bar. Go speak to him and you will probably finish it. I just completed both.

Oh ok. Thanks for the help. I couldn't remember which elcor was which. I guess battling Geth really gave me short-term memory.

One of them is glitched. You don't scan anything you just go back to the Ambassador at the embassies and the quest is finished.
