Makes beyond no sense. Both of em should be dead, or they should be court martial'd for desertion.

On both control and destroy the ending was exactly the same for me.

Joker stepped out, followed by Javik, and then as the scene was ending Kaiden came out, I didn't catch anyone else.

Kaiden was with me on Earth, don't know if it counts for anything but I'm pretty sure he was the second squad mate I selected since I believe Garrus was on the far left so he would have been first.

So....your LI is automatically there it seems for the non synth endings, and magically leaves Shepard? Wow. Garrus wouldn't do that either, he and Shepard would either be alive or getting smashed in heaven.

It's already been stated on the pastebin leak that it's based on the two characters you have the highest relationship rating with.

I'm not completely sure but I would guess it's based on the number of positive replies you give them in conversations throughout the game.  The only ending that is an exception to this is Synthesis, in which Joker and EDI will always step out.

I'd guess at this, too. At least, I doubt it's how often you use them in your squad, because I had Liara step out of the Normandy along with my LI, and I used her very sparingly.

That exact thing happened to me. I was like WTF? where's Garrus?

I'm going to take Garrus and Vega next time and see if it changes a bit.

Same here..I need Garrus in the ending damn it! 

I only took Liara in hopes of getting some heart moving final kiss or crying from Liara. No such luck. Next time she stays at the base and I take someone who doesn't die all the time.

Yeah Liara died on me 3 times when i was holding the line by the missles. and Garrus didn't die once. I'm bringing Javik or Tali next time....I was also hoping for a moving final kiss...but I was also hoping for my squadmates to come with me to the Citadel too so that ruined it right there

Also, I noticed someone else, like a glimpse of I think to be Garrus for the destruction ending coming out first, you see only the top of his head in the grass to the left when Joker and whoever are standing there.
