EDI and Javik on squad.
Liara as love interest from ME1, stayed faithful in ME2, continued relationship in ME3.
Joker exits Normandy first, followed by EDI. Cue tender moment, followed by Liara.
IIRC EMS was just a hair under 4k.  3996 or something like that.

I've heard that if your EMS isn't high enough your squadmates die in the blast. In that case, it wouldn't make sense to see one them walk out of the Normandy.

I redid the ending, to see my Shepard not melt and I got Joker, Javik and Kaidan again (Destroy ending).
No romance in ME3, and I pretty much was at odds with the VS for most of the game, so Kaidan coming out rather than Liara was a bit strange.

Nah, that can't be it, I got more than 7000 EMS and still Garrus would have died? Makes no sense.
But then, what about that ending does?
