And do you really think that this is the way to go? To flush EA and Bioware with everything you got, making phone calls etc. You do know that these actions most likely well lead to one thing - even harder restrictions on the forums - or that the devs won't participate in these forums as much anymore.

EA has nothing to do with the daily operations of Bioware; to me, at least, it is clear, that Bioware made the decisions about the endings, but didn't communicate that 'the endings were not for everyone' and 'open-ended' well enough to the fans.

In my mind, and from what I've seen, on these forums, Bioware and the staff and maybe even the doctors, Ray and Greg themselves? are aware of the - let's call it - commotion & upheaval - that the endings have stirred and raised here on the BSN. However, people tend to forget that that we at the BSN is just (now) a small fraction of the 3,5 million games shipped. Even we here at BSN total around 5,5 million people or so, the people coming to the Mass Effect forums may only be one tenth of this e.g 550,000 or maybe only 50,000-60,000 people or so. It may be that the majority here on BSN don't like the endings, but what about those outside the forums?

Back to action called for on this friday:
It may well be that EA might take notice but do you they will do anything else than to refer you to Bioware and or to send your (our) complaints on to Bioware? EA did not decide what endings Bioware to the ME3 game, Bioware made the endings they wanted. And from what I have seen it is hard to define and to understand that the endings all should be a dream...

this will fail spectacularly, i'm sorry to say dude. There is little organization or even way you can do this because the damage has been done in other venues already, namely the bombing on other sites and the constant prissiness of the bad apples ruining any form of good protest.

you already brought it, anyone who buys it second hand and wants to play multiplayer would have to buy code and next person to own it might buy the dlc so hardly going to matter to EA   when you look at it from a real point of view.

all i'm gonna do is email them saying how disappointed me (and others) were with the ending and explain why..........i won't swear at them, i won't insult them, just share my disappoint and recommend they release a DLC ending (that i will even pay for).

This isn't the first time a fan campaign has sent mass emails........it won't be the last.

and before you guys say it won't work (which may very well be the case), remember, some fan campaigns have succeeded (Operation Rainfall for instance)

That they can show enough restraint and human decency to not verbally assult the person on the other end? The same guy's who were saying that bioware is dead, that EA is a cancer on the world, and that we should sue the company for false advertising?

Exactly! This is what my original intenetion was. Everyone just sending a email to express how upset they are. This isn't spam, this isn't harrasment. EA is a company and I'm sure they would like to hear our feedback.

 Also, if you don't mind me asking, what is Operation Rainfall?

The only thing this will likely accomplish is angering the devs, which is detrimental to the goal. I really hope everyone thinks rationally about this and calls it off. This in and of itself is harassment after all.
