I've sold my copy. Deprived EA of a sale and any chance of them selling me DLC.

you already brought it, anyone who buys it second hand and wants to play multiplayer would have to buy code and next person to own it might buy the dlc so hardly going to matter to EA   when you look at it from a real point of view.

Unless they play it and say "eh, what's the point of MP because ending."  Like I did.

If they genuinely enjoy the game, then I've made someone else happy, and gotten most of my money back.  I'd say that's a good thing.

Nice to see you enter the combat zone Lord Heresy.

I'm proud to be a part of it. At some point in time the gamers have to unite for the common good. It doesn't matter if you're on a console or PC, if you're a gamer you have to speak up.

If they don't listen to us soon we need to rev it up a notch with websites, grassroots movements and boycott with our wallets. And EA/Bioware aren't the only companies that need to get hit with this. Look at how Bethesda betrayed PS3 users. They KNEW the game was broken before release and they released it anyway. This type of madness has to stop. There needs to be accountability and better QA. In addition, the sites that give praise to these companies and their games, should suffer from the boycott as well.

to all of you saying that bioware cannot change anything now that the game is out - Broken Steel ring a bell?

as for the letter campaign, well.... anyone heard of the "write your congressman" ? This here is no different from campaigns people run when trying to stop a bad law from being aproved, or get more attention to the cause that needs to be addressed.

the only difference is the cause, really.

and yes, I'm in. I'll even include a doodle of a crying Shepard with my letter (telling them they made my Shepard cry is not harassment, its a guilt trip :P )

Well I'm only 15, so that's sort of hard to do. But I do have a job if that's worth anything.

THANK YOU! That's what I'm trying to say. This is no different than writing to your local congressman about your displeasment with some issue.

We won't be spamming. 1 by 1 we will simply write/call/tweet our opinion.

I swear by it, NO HARM, NO FOUL.

*sigh* Figures. I bet 90% of the people who dont like the ending arent even out of high school yet. the reason they probably dont like the ending is that they're to stupid to understand it...

I'm quite knowledable enough to understand what a stupid ending, and what a good ending is. This was not a good ending. Even my 9 year old cousin thought the ending sucked.

That's one game.  Then there was Deus Ex: HR, LA Noire, and a bunch of other games with... unsatisfying endings.  I don't expect any letter writing campaign to have any impact. Sorry.

There's a thought what would happen to EA's stock if WE ALL sold our copies and flooded the market with used games before they were done selling new ones?

LA Noire was a dark game from the start.  if you ever read or watched anything else from the genre (Noir), you woudln't expect a happy ending for it.  becasue that's not what the genre is about.  Deus Ex ending actualy fit the rest of the game and I found it satisfying for that reason alone. and before Red Dead Redemption is brought up - ever watched Shane?   RDR is a western.  and not even spaggeti western.  happy ending wouldn't have worked for the story.

the main reason why ME3 ending doesn't work is because it contradicts the lore, it contradicts the premise of "your choices make a difference), it discards the over reaching theme of Mass Effect - overcoming and triumphing over impossible odds.  the options you are presented are negligible, in the end - it doesn't matter what you chose.

sometimes letter campaigns do nothing.  and sometimes they accomplish change.  but if you do nothing?  you ensure that you fail.  its better to try and fail then fail without even trying.

<Mean stuff>

You think you're sounding mature by belittling other people?  I'm not sure how much you know about the world, but people of all ages can be both very mature and very immature.  I didn't like the endings, and I'm in my last semester of college, and have had a programming job for nearly 4 years.  Mass Effect 3 had a decent (but not great) ending, then they added another 5 minutes that turned it into a travesty.

If you're going to be rude, just don't say anything.  Or don't even come to these forums.  I'll admit, the thread title is a bit silly, but calling on people to voice their displeasure in a respectful manner is more than what a lot of people can rightfully claim to have done.

Edit: seems that BioWare has taken action.  Thank you, moderators!

Not sure what would happen to their stock.  The second-week sales of new games would presumably drop significantly though, similar to what happened to DA2.
