I don't doubt that individuals hold that sentiment, but as a company, BioWare loved $ a tad more.

I believe you do, BioWare. And the feelings are mutual, however I don't think your EA overlords do. And they seem to be the ones holding the reins. Or the steering wheel. Or the whips. Or whatever, you see what I'm trying to get at.

Anyone want to give this a good project name?

I'm leaning towards "Project: Never Give Up, Never Surrender."

Though I'm willing to take other suggestions as well.

Oh, even as a hater I can't deny the sincerity behind that.

You get our feels, right? We want a good ME game and I'm positive Bioware feels the same.

We're all just having disagreements on the details.

Like Bioware or EA is gonna give a ____.

If they wanted to make a good ending they would have.

No.. Why would this help? The whole ending thing has been picked up by all major gaming websites. Bioware is aware at this point. Waste of time.

I should add that most of the mainstream sources that are reporting in on all of the people crying over how the endings went down have the majority of complaining parties involved pegged accurately.

The reports made by CVG and Forbes are the only ones that cover the issue instead of pointing out that the fans are wasting their time with online petitions that will never be taken seriously or other means of bellyaching that does more to hurt their position instead of aid them in reaching their goal.

It also doesnt help that the average person raging over the ending is doing so for all of the wrong reasons and further weakening the efforts in having an ending that does bring closure to the ME trilogy come about.

We need to free BioWare from their EA indoctrination! BioWare is not our true enemy!

This latest installment of ME gives me sooooo much more reason to support small gaming companies. instead of these money loving gaming overlords.[inappropriate comment removed]. Just stop before you crush my amazing memories with you.

I agree and employees randomly popping into threads without anything really big to say just makes it worse. We all know this is about money.

I don't really understand why my post was censored. I'll re-word it because I thought it was funny: BioWare like the *bottom* end of George Lucas' career; just cranking out games with a similar title to my once favorite games, each farther from what I remember from the last.

ok, i didnt read all 14 pages of this.. Just scrolled threw till i saw the Bioware responces .

But, i'll have to say that i'll likely join in on this (i also joined in on the SOPA/PIPA block 'rally' that happend a few months back). Not because the ending was bad.. or it felt like it was cheepend, or rushed or such.

But because there was no 'end'. The game literaly felt as if it just stoped. Rather than give us a grand ending.. you gave us a spectactular Climax that would lead up to an ending... then, nothing.

If anything, instead of an 'ending' we got what ammounts to a sales-pitch cliffhanger for an up-comming tittle.. Either ME4, or a Trillagy that comes after it story-wise.

Mass Effect 2's ending was an actual 'ending' And it was the 2nd of the 3 games.. Yes, it 'ended' with seeing the reapers flying threw dark-space towards the galaxy but you saw the 'results' of your actions (ie. if everyone lived, you see them all reuiniting/rebuilding, you see the races getting back on their feet and such). In ME3's ending, you see the 'beginning' of the result to your actions.. then someone flips the off-switch and your left with no idea what actualy 'happend' afterwards. For all we know the shockwave of all of the exploding Relay's could have whyped out eveyr planet in the systems they were located in (which would include Sol). There could be a 2nd wave of Reepers out beyond the range of the relays that was waiting for its chance to come in and clean up. We just dont know because the story never 'ended', it literaly just stoped.

I think its the 'it just stoped' is what has most people upset.. (atleast its what has me upset)  Everything else with the way the story plays out, the last choices you can make.. all of that can remain the same, but if you'd just put that last bit of effort in to actualy SHOW what happens in the 'aftermath' , the rebuilding / isolation / re-joining / anything, This backlash wouldnt be nearly as big as it is. The ending ME3 has is what you'd expect to have in ME2 (as its the 'middle' story), Not what you'd expect to be the 'final'.

Instead were left with what ammounts (atleast in my eyes) to nothing more than a premature stop to a storylines ending that was designed as nothing more than a sales-pitch for whatever comes out 'next' in the story.

Page 12 - 14 was heavily moderated, though I'm confused how editing a post that a person will likely never view again (who reviews their own posts after posting it and the pages keep going up?) is effective moderation, or how giving Strikes for posts that were made before you even edited them all works out well.

In any case, I support doing something about BioWare's actions.

Before the game came out i kept wandering what Mass Effect fans including me would do once it came out and we had no more Mass Effect games to look forward to, at least none that we know of, though i haven't finished the game i'm pretty sure i'll take the ending as it is and try to make sense of it, i might be confusing and dissapointing but there is no way around it. You guys are being ridiculuos, the ME series will be remember for what it was and not what it could have been, you are all just acting childish over probably the last 15 min of a game, chill and move on.
