Before the game came out i kept wandering what Mass Effect fans including me would do once it came out and we had no more Mass Effect games to look forward to, at least none that we know of, though i haven't finished the game i'm pretty sure i'll take the ending as it is and try to make sense of it, i might be confusing and dissapointing but there is no way around it. You guys are being ridiculuos, the ME series will be remember for what it was and not what it could have been, you are all just acting childish over probably the last 15 min of a game, chill and move on.

Final mission lasted including all content about 2 or so hours. This showed that nothing we'd done actually mattered and assets were not factored in for any regard or meaningful modifier.

don't critisize us until you've seen it.

if you still feel this way after beating it, fine. But don't call us childish for wanting a new ending, espeically on a series alot of us spent over $100 on, me personally probably having spent over $200.

J/k I love you Bioware

We love you all too, believe it or not. :)

concidering the degree of fanservice present in Mass Effect 3, I personaly have no doubt that you as a company and people - care and want to do your best to please your fanbase.

but.. the road to hell is paved with best intentions.  I'm sure developers thought that endings were fantastic and on some level - they do look quite good and work with the music.  its just when you take entire trilogy into account, start thinking about the lore and concider importing your other Shepards?  that's when it all falls appart.  so I'm hoping you guys are talking and figuring out your options.

I would really hate to relegade future bioware games to "bargain bin purchase only" category  (this is not a threat, btw, I just prefer to play games that make me feel a happy sort of satisfaction once the credits start rolling, and both Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age 2 failed to accomplish that.  Origins, ME1 and ME2 however, made me feel so happy and inspired.  I want that feeling back :(  )

As i play it does actually show that some of the decisions i made matter, i have yet to finished the game so i don't know if they'll matter in the end.

I don't know. To say you'll only buy another Bioware game is when it hits bargin bin prices is a bit harsh. 99% of the game was absoultely brilliant. I hate the ending too, but all this seems a bit extreme.

Count me in.
ME3 is like eating the dessert of a very good diner, then being told that all you ate was cooked with your mother's flesh: it makes you mad and you don't want to even remember ever having eaten that diner.

Sorry for calling you childish, i've also spent between $300 and $400 on this series but whatever  feeling i get from the ending is not going to make me want to spam EA and Bioware just to get a new better one.

I suppose there is no harm on sending an email stating the obvious, constructive critics email while at it.
It will only take me about 5 maybe 10 minutes.

I ' m game, White Queen reporting for duty Sir !

To quote the great AdmiralCheez:
"People who haven't played ME3: OH MY GOD WHAT A BUNCH OF WHINERS

People who have played ME3: HOLY BALLS THAT WAS BAD SOMEBODY FIX THIS"

I genuinely hope that you like the endings, as I would not wish the disappointment I felt from them on my worst enemy (well, maybe my worst enemy...).  But as others have said, finish the game first.  Chances are, you'll agree with those that disliked them.

What's so bad about the ending that it needs a protest? I don't have ME3 yet BTW but I plan to buy it.
Even if the Reapers win (which I consider unlikely) why is that bad?

Tons of issues. No closure, doesn't make sense, etc.

If you get the 'good' or even the 'realy good' endings.. it dosnt 'end'. It just stops.

Remember at the end of ME2 were after you blow up/save the Collector base, it goes on to show you a bit of what happens AFTER you get back?.. ME3 dosnt do that.

It flat STOPS directly after your choice. Nothing is shown about what happens after the effects of your choice filter threw the galaxy, you see the 'beginning' of the effects, but nothing beyond that, no closure.

I haven't finished the game but in a conversation with Liara with Shepard she mentions how it took hundreds of years for the reapers to exterminate the protheans, of how young she is and that she might be alive the whole time to see the outcome of the war against the reapers, when i heard that it gave me the sense that i might not see the Reapers either win or die but that the last thing i would see at the end of the game would be a glimpse at what the outcome might be.

Oh... I would go for the bad endings then. I want closure.

I would like to know what my squadmates (And several NPCs) did after the ending. And if Shepard survives what he/she did based on romances etc like "And he/she lived with his/her lover ever after" for paragons or for those that didn't cheat or "Soon after the fireworks ended... so did their love. They went seperate ways. And then Shepard found true love in Joker's hands"

I hope we have enough to know what happened to certain favorites of mine (no spoilers please if they die):
Joker
Aria
Illusive man
Udina
That Asari councilor (I have a thing for women with power)
Kelly (the one that takes care of your fish)
and every squad member.

I apologize to this petition. I made fun of it at first, but after seeing whole petitions just for a better ending, I realize this is important. I don't want Bioware to fail over something like this. I'm joining petition for Bioware, not against it.

Buddy, I say this with absoltely no malice: please don't even try to guess what the ending will be.  You never will.  I would explain why this is basically impossible, but it might be considered a spoiler.  You'll find out why after you've experienced it.

Just take my advice and enjoy the game while you're still unfinished, because up to the ending, it's a masterpiece.  And, for me at least, the ending just destroyed that masterpiece.

I doubt they'll fail over this.  In a certain light, people complaining abou th endings can be a good thing.  You have people that will (probably) willingly pay to get some better endings through DLC.  Quite a few of them, if what I've read is any judge of the general consensus.

If BioWare does make new endings, and does them well, they will both make a lot of money from DLC sales, and will also regain loyalty from a lot of their customers who were really shaken by the endings.

This, of course, assumes that they do do something like that, and they do it well (i.e. with the same excellence as the rest of the game, which was amazing).

I'm not boycotting BioWare over this, as I'll buy any game that is good, no matter who makes it.  But it would still mean a lot to me and many others if they could produce something that a fairly large fanbase is asking for.

apparently someone started a fundraiser for the ending to change (although all the money goes directly to child's play.)

amazing it is.
