You guys realize they probably spent countless hours trying to hash out the story and give the series a proper ending? If they change that now, it basically puts all their hardwork in the garbage.

Alright! After this let's attack coppola for godfather 3s ending! Er no one? That's right, you have no grounds to change someone's work. It's THEIR work remember. If bioware cave and dlc a different ending in I'd be more annoyed at them. It would show them as being not sure of themselves. Let's all grow up:)

Of course it's their work. We're just asking them nicely to see the effect of the ending on the game series. We're not forcing them, just asking nicely. Now, if I were to take ME3, mod it and release my own ending and selling it for money as "The correct ending to Mass Effect 3", that'd be wrong. But what we're doing is right and completely acceptable.

Well, no I wouldn't call ripping off the ending to Deus Ex hardwork, exactly. That said, I think I have grasped what's going on with the ending and there isn't a doubt in my mind we only got half or less of the ending of Mass Effect 3. I am sure they will give us more as DLC. I do wish though, that they would have given us the entire ending on release, or presented it in a better manner so it would be easier to see what they were trying to do. It's "clever" on their part, but if they charge money for the rest of the ending, that won't be very cool.

But stop panicking guys, Shepard's story isn't over.

All I wanted was a happy ending damn it!
They won't change the ending I think we all know that but if they want to shove a middle finger up the fan base ass with these corny endings then F it let me give them the finger back by...bothering them I guess.

We don't know if that was their hardwork or crappy last minute remake in EA's honor.

I'm in.

And thank you Bioware, for not locking this topic despite the spam that has occurred. I take it as your indirect and silent support to all of this. I hope that means you still have a heart for the hardcore fans, Bioware.

no ones going to lock a topic this funny.

if people are not happy then of course they have right to say so dont think mod would lock it.

not sure if facebook be so happy or twitter if people were to jam up their systems not that it will of course.

Gold leader busy friday so wont be attending.

*A* proper ending? They promised multuple endings, which is the problem I have with them to begin with.

Casey Hudson: It's not so much that there is a fixed set of alternative endings, but all of your choices really determine how things end up in the universe. So, how you approach the end-game, for every player, you're going to have a different set of results in terms of who is alive and who is dead, and which civilisations survived and which ones were wiped out. There is a huge set of consequences that start stacking up as you approach the end-game. And even in terms of the ending itself, it continues to break down to some very large decisions. So it's not like a classic game ending where everything is linear and you make a choice between a few things - it really does layer in many, many different choices, up to the final moments, where it's going to be different for everyone who plays it.

Rose Red standing by. (I guess? I don't get it lol.)

Second warning to the thread about the spam. All the "reporting in" and "standing by" posts do nothing to advance the discussion.

Sweet Jesus! Stop whining!

Bioware have provided me with hundreds of hours of entertainment with the Mass Effect series, not to mention all the other games they've made that I've enjoyed. They are the artist here and if you don't like the ending - tough. You need to respect the artist's intent rather than try to change their work.

Next you morons will want to draw a smiley face on the Mona Lisa.

You're right. An artist charged us $200 dollars for this vision. We should be happy.

Are you honestly comparing one of the most recognizable pieces of art from one of the best known artists in all of human history to this video game?

The so called "artists" have to respect the majority of customers taste or they wont live long. Its a bad idea to ****** off so many fans, doesnt matter if you like the endings or not.

I've loved this series, and while majority of ME3 is good, I think many of us are displeased with the ME3 ending and the honorable Stanley Woo and co seem to be willing to let us voice our opinions and send our polite E-mails in and see if we can get some discussion going at the place it matters; BioWare HQ.

So that said; STG Scout-Sniper Zeju reporting in. :) Served under Major Kirrahe!

I am not happy with the endings, but a little too melodramatic and childish for my tastes.
