I'm happy with the endings and I don't need to see a change to them.
Good luck to the rest of you though.

I agree the ending is inexplicably bad, and indefensible. I join your hope that BioWare makes it right. What I don't understand is what you hope to accomplish by a letter writing campaign. Without a doubt, BioWare is completely aware of the profound and almost universal dissatisfaction with the end of Mass Effect 3. They have a history of being responsive to their fans. At this point, it seems to me that we are just waiting to hear what response they're working on.
They intend to market DLC, as well as providing some free DLC to keep people engaged and interested in the paid DLC. Surely they understand that without addressing the ending issue, not many people will give a crap about their other DLC content, so BioWare is almost certainly working on some kind of plan to address this.
If their announcement, when it comes, does not set out a satisfactory resolution, then a letter campaign might make sense. Until then, well... I don't see the point.
I could be wrong. This could be just what's needed to inspire BioWare to fix what's broken. I just don't see it.

people are taking a stand
There's nothing wrong with wanting a more conclusive ending for a video game. A lot of the whining can get obnoxious but there's nothing wrong in principle with wanting to 'take a stand'.

Oops, guess I overdid it.
I don't get it. Yes the endings weren't amazing, but is everyone
forgetting the amount of fan service, in game jokes and the emotional
rollercoaster of ride the previous 30 hours took you through?!?
I'm happy with the endings and I don't need to see a change to them.
Good luck to the rest of you though.
That's why we aren't demanding a change to the rest of the game (though the London mission wasn't what I expected).
Also, who and why ninja'd my link? Was it against the rules?

Also, question to OP: does unliking Bioware on FB count as a form of protest? You could try that too

"I know that you, eminent Stanley Woo, are so powerful and virile, and I am so meek and unimportant, not worthy of the time it takes you to consider my pleas. But please, oh please, do hear my pleas. The splendor of your ending is too much! Too much! My timid, impotent mind could not comprehend it, and I am so weak of will that I cannot look past it. Please let it make sense to those not of your majestic lineage. It would be our honor for you to teach us to make sense of it. Give us the chance to learn!"
And if it turns out to be recycled footage pieced together in a rush because you changed the ending at the last minute, I'm going to punch you in the tupo berries next time I see you. Be warned!

Why not ask about the entire script? Choices barely mattered, almost all promises fell flat and many other problems plague the entire game.
The endings are simply a symptom of the greater disease of indifferent design / writing. Did you kill somebody? We'll bring them back because most people did that decision! Did you like the one person and hoped to see them again? Too bad, they died off screen! Did you side with that one person? They stereotypically became evil! Surprise!
I know asking for better ending and gladly throwing money to the people who are screwing you with a smile on their face is what most of you intend, however you're only making their wallets richer. If fans were so desperate for their "happy" ending, who says they won't do it again? Pay 15$ to end the Mage / Templar war in Dragon Age 3! Pay 15$ to bring back a dead companion to life! Pay 30$ for cheese rolls with a side of bacon... with exclusive Mass Effect 4 ending DLC!
The only way to fully teach them a lesson is by not buying their product, not thanking them for screwing you with more money. You're only supporting the very thing you hate.

Really? Come on guys, the game has not even been released every where. I hate to break it too you guys, but your not their only audience. They can't even give a official response until Japan gets the game and they see their reaction(bad). Give them time.

Dragon Age 2?
They weren't very responsive then.
Also to the OP you write the letter and I'll email it, otherwise I can't be arsed as they are unlikely to change it, also you should include something about the 5000 ems and MP as I can't even achieve 4000 in sp and I have played it four times to try get my ems to 4000
