I think the Charity Fund was a far more constructive and beneficial idea than this. I won't be participating. Also EA is not who we want to talk to to get the endings changed, it's Bioware.

I think it's right to let EA get some reaction.

I'm pretty sure they are indeed responsible for this mess, the weak multiplayer and then there's the whole origin sh... ah stuff.

Anybody has an email contact for nno-uk europe?

I just logged in to say this is both ridiculous and childish. Let your voice be heard? Even if your "voice" is heard, what are they going to do.....change the ending thousands (million+ ?) have already experienced? LOL! And what would it really do for you personally?

There's a lot of movies with which I didn't like the ending.

Did I complain to the creators, begging for something different? Absolutely not, and the thought would never cross my mind for a millisecond. Grow up.

Picketing because some product kills animals unncessarily in its production, I can understand that. You didn't like your fictional video game ending?! LOL! Again, grow up.

Enjoy your Friday everybody, I'll probably be playing Mass Effect 3 while you do...whatever it is you do.

Same here!

Okay, this is absolutely ridiculous..... Shame on you BSN, grow a pair and accept that it's their game, not yours. Harrassment is not going to help you get the ending you want. If anything it will just ****** them off, and they'll be less likely to care about their fans.

I've been trying to tell them this for a couple days now. But they're set in their ways, like lemmings.

Agreed. Harrassing EA and spamming tweets/phonecalls just makes everyone look bad.

This is stupid.

Anyone ever considered the implications of choices across THREE games really has? So what if major plot advances are the same across all playthroughs. This is a STORY, isn't it?

I'd like to see any of you try to tailor to every single choice in ME2 based off ME1, which is a hard enough task in itself..... and then deal with the exponentially increased amount of variables carried to ME3. No one has ever undertaken a task like this, and they did a damn good job.

Diversity with directive. These MF'ers are talented. If you disagree, you are brainless. Do it yourself. Your Shepard isn't every Shepard.

Wow, I should have been here all along. I love these people. I'm with you on this.

You can't force them to change the ending, true. But you can show them how more than 80% of the online ME fans are extremely disappointed with them, which in turn leads to less purchases of DLCs or even further Bioware/EA games. Honestly, I have bought all DLCs and games of ME and even DA, and I'm even willing to buy DLCs with different ME3 endings. However, if no such endings appear, I won't buy one additional Bioware or EA game, that is certain. Just to prove a point.
So yes, you can't demand. Yes, they can have their vision. But it is my money, and there are other ways, even legal ones, to play their games without me giving them a single cent. And that is what we need to make them see.

80% of BSN maybe, but not of the entire fandom. So your point is invalid.

oh I know, I've been saying that for two days now. not only does BSN look worse than 4chan or neogaf but all gaming sites are laughing (except gamefront whoever that is) not only is their stupidity affecting this community, it's affecting gaming as a whole.

The 40 yr old virgin in the basement is now > BSN whiner for a new ending.

Welcome to the club. But they think they're amazeballs for what they're doing. They don't see how they're effecting the rest of the gaming community with their nonsense. Yes, nonsense.

I will happily be supporting the charity, and keeping my nose out of the mudslinging.

I'd recommend you do the same, instead of acting like what everyone accuses us of being, let's show EA how much money they lost on potential future sales of things like DLC by giving it to a good cause.

I can see the headlines now "Idiot Gamers lose complete grip on reality"

Everyone needs to get a hold of themselves here and get things back into perspective.

I'm all for raising money for charity and the fact that over 30K has been raised is awesome, and believe me it makes a very powerful statrement

Bombarding EA/Bioware in this manner however makes a very different statement, its just childish, redundent, and quite frankly downright embarassing (much like this entire thread to be honest)

Get a life, it will be far more useful to you then an alternate ending

Normal people everywhere are laughing at you

I don't think that it's a good idea to harass EA/Bioware, but civil protest does not harm to anyone.

-A letter writing campaign is a great idea.

But the best thing that you can do is collectively refuse to purchase any EA product. That is really the only good course of action.

You should all say that until the ending is changed you will never support EA. That's not "entitlement", thats just use of your consumer rights.

If you are serious, you should all simply get as many people as possible to cancel all subscriptions to EA/Bioware (especially you should all cancel TOR subscriptions) and not buy any games. Forever, potentially.

I'm starting right now. Fortunately all of EA's games suck anyway.

Want to know the weirdest thing? Pcgamer and fileshack agrees with this action. Ea games must know you cant end 5 years of hard work with a quick death. That is just betraying the fans. We can count in their support

Cant edit through smartphone argh! Anyway, gamefront, filefront and fileshack are the 1 and same company and runs the biggest file sharing network for games. If they are game, ea must listen.

As someone who doesn't give a **** about people's problems about virtual crap, enjoyed the endings, and is sober, he's actually right.

His point is valid enough when several topics about it erupt.  Not only that, this is everywhere, Gamefaqs, LL, Something Awful, probably 4chan too.  Other gaming sights or forums.  A lot of people are dissapointed with the ending but love or enjoyed the game.

He's also doing the right thing, using his money properly instead of consecutively whining constantly about the problem.

I wasn't planning on harassing anybody with my email, I just want to let them know my opinion.

To anybody thinking this affects the whole gaming community in a negative way.

1. Are you people really serious? First off, gamers are about the most ridiculed group anyway, only comic fans are probably more laughed about.

2. There have been lots of successful mail-in campaigns in the past, it will be the same here.
If enough people voice their opinion, if enough publicity is created and the company starts to feel an effect, they will react. They may just issue some apologizing press releases, or they might actually do something. We don't know what, but such a campaign can easily reach numbers that attract attention.

What would be important is a way to get this out of the BSN and into the wider web community, but using facebook and twitter is already doing a bit of that.
