Good luck! I'll be enjoying my second play through on Friday.
Why are you not Red Cherry standing by?
Because I like the ending

I'd like to see any of you try to tailor to every single choice in ME2 based off ME1, which is a hard enough task in itself..... and then deal with the exponentially increased amount of variables carried to ME3. No one has ever undertaken a task like this, and they did a damn good job.
Sorry, what? How'd they do a good job? Most choices boiled down into the exact same scene playing out regardless of your previous choices, the only difference is that a line or two changes and you get an asset number that has little bearing to the rest of the game (OH GOD, CONSEQUENCES!!!11) .
Witcher 2 and even Dragon Age 2 had better importing.

Maybe you'd care to explain what you would have done differently to cater to every single previous choice?

- I wouldn't invalidate previous choices. Killed somebody? They stay dead, shocking statement.
- Don't throw the army you just recruited into a useless number and you never see them again. Rachni offers you underground tunnels underneath London in the finale, those who killed them have to fight above ground. Ect.
ect
Rather than the "didn't I kill you?" line which leads to "oh yeah, lol. i got better!" instead of "oh i remember saving you!" which leads to "hey bro, hows it hanging?".

I see. So you don't understand the complications of this kind of design.
Rachni saving/destroying the ONLY factor as to where you play a certain mission? You could say the same about 20 other choices, all leading to different areas and scenarios. While that would be cool, realize that you would be playing Mass Effect 3 in 2016 instead.
Also I have no idea what this "killed someone, they live" nonsense is, that's not happened in 2 playthroughs personally. Maybe try to import the right save.

Then they shouldn't have told us how choice mattered, how it was "our" Shepard and we'd face tough choices and consequences in the series. They shouldn't have hyped the import system at all, only to turn around and railroad everything.

Bottom line: compare Mass Effect 3 to other games out there.
Or play the game without importing.
So ungrateful for one of the best-executed projects in gaming.
Some people are never happy.
