I mean, if you have a 30% bonus from say incendiary ammo, while you have it equipped on a gun, you get say 150 ammo instead of 100, so to speak? But when not equipped with it, it goes back to 100?
So how does the ammo capacity part of powers work?

It's increased capacity. Allows you to pick up more ammo for the weapon. If you deactivate it you lose the extra ammo, and when you put it back on you won't see ammo increase, but you'll be able to pick more up.

Yes, it allows you to pick up more ammo when the power is turned on.
