It seems to me that the difficulty significantly ramped up at Redcliffe (as compared to before, I have come straight from Ostagar) and also with the Chanter board quests from Redcliffe.  I am just wondering if this is how the rest of the game will be?  Not complaining, just curious what I am up against for the rest of the game.  Thanks!

my playthrough on Normal was Lothering > Redcliffe > Forest > Shale > Mage Circle > Denerim > Orzrammar



game got easier for me after completing Forest

The difficulty curve is a bit skewed in this game (and most other CRPGs for that matter), the game is at it's hardest just after you leave Ostagar so the first mission you do after that is the toughest one in the game. As you get better equipment and more abilities you increase in power faster than the enemies scale up, so the game gets progressivly easier.
