I dropped Kaidan like a hot potato when I realized I could romance Garrus. I really like the mutual respect and how it feels like Shep is with her best friend.

Oh I forgot to add. The kiss in ME3 was done so friggin perfectly. It's like Liara's lips melted on Shepard's, such the perfect kiss. In addition, the love scene was perfect as well. Her skin and the detail of the scene was really, really well done!

I´m partial to Tali and Miranda. But in terms of narration, I think the best told romance is Garrus.

Even if you don´t romance Garrus, he´s probably my favorite character in the whole series; he combines cynicism, godwill and camaraderie like no other character.

Ashley is the most realistic. Two people of the same race in close proximity, both from the alliance ext. Also its not some butterfly love story. They actually interact like real people arguing and such.

Miranda is also a decent choice for similar reasons. However shes so headstrong and determined in other directions that make me think its the sort of thing that would never work.

Agree. I went with Ashley because ultimately it felt the most real. All the other LI are just fall in love and continue falling in love. Ash romance actually had multiple fallouts.

 Tali, she has the sweatest voice ever. She is always thinking about others, I helped her during her pilgramage and again on Haestrom. She helped my Shepard through the most daring moments of his life. I also like the fact I have to guess what she looks like under her mask. Which makes one fall in love with her personality and character rather than her looks. The mystique she has had me intriqued from the moment I saw her kill Fist his men.

As for my Femshep playthrough Garrus, he is the coolest character for me in the ME universe. He also has one of the best voice actors to boot

Tali, hands down. Contrary to everyone else, she's still incredibly naive to the universe as a whole, and her nervousness about her feelings for Shepard were adorable. Also, as Donnelly put it, that suit hugs all the right places.

Kaidan, easily. I've been wanting to have my shep romance him since ME1 and their romance in ME3 seems so natural and definetly does not disappoint

On my old ME2 save I had romanced Liara because she is an all round amazing character throughout ME1-3, but in the save game i used for me3 I had romanced Tali in ME2 and since romancing her she has easily become my favorite character in the game. The way her character grows from ME1-3 is amazing.

Liara, admittedly. I like strong women. Plus that look during the ending flashback nearly killed me with sadness.

Garrus but I loved watching Tali's in ME2. It was the shy geeky girl getting the big jock in the end. I thought it was adorable.

I did Ashley in the first game but as soon as the second one came out Tali all the way. Just couldn't stay away. only if deliberately trying to romance another character otherwise somehow always end up with Tali. not that I am complaining as I think Tali is the best romance option.

Liara, I just really like her character, and the ups and downs she experiences throughout the story. Without her, Shepard never would've had the chance to come back to fight the Reapers if it hadn't been for her.

Liara was my only LI throughout the series until the bittersweet end. I think it was the whole being trapping in the security bubble thing in the Promethean ruins in ME1 and her finding out we used a laser then she was like Oh well that makes sense. I don't know why but that cracked me up. It was enough to make me want to know more about her in the game. All in all, i truly loved the way she progressed through the series though.
