Is anyone having a problem when they reach Eden prime after Shepard gets the last of the pod data it freezes shortly after you try to open up the door to exit. I downloaded the dlc that came with collectors edition here in Australia .If anyone knows how to bypass it can you please help me in this forum.
The message returns saying that there has been an error with my disc and that I have to quit the game and restart it but it comes up with the same message even when I restart the whole mission.

It Sounds Like You Got A Defective Game Try Getting Hold Of The Store You Got It At And Ask For A New Game

Is the mission Eden prime apart of the dlc that came with collectors edition by any chance or is it actually on the disc because it might be the dlc cause I made a new character and I made quick progress with it and it's fine when I avoid the eden prime mission
Male Shepard: Level 11
Female Shepard: Level 16
I was playing as Male Shepard during the Eden Prime mission
I also found out that Eden prime is apart of the dlc included
So would this still count as a defective disc/game

It happened to me. I have a pre-HDMI 360, if that is helpful. When you try to redownload, it seems to fly too quickly thru it. Then the freeze happened, again. So, I tried hitting button quickly to skip conversations and that worked. Does it seem to freeze with Liara looking back at you over her shoulder?

Exactly.
In fact, there are two pods in this mission on Eden Prime.
I did not go directly to the one marked as next target, but found the second pod first - there my game got stuck during the video playback and I had to force close it via the task manager. Then I thought since the other pod was targeted first, maybe the game requires you to visit that one first - and I got a crash when Liara looks back at me over her shoulder after the video sequence.
Tried setting video settings to minimum and playing as administrator, with no change. I replayed the mission and went for the indicated one first, no change. Graphics driver is updated, no unnecessary background programs running, fast computer. No idea what to try now. Will have to skip and try later and write to the technical support in the meantime.

I forgot - I have the digital download of the Collector's Edition. I am now repairing/re-downloading the DLC From Ashes and restart my pc. Maybe this fixes it...
UPDATE:
Well - I managed it (guess I was lucky). I re-installed the DLC From Ashes via Origin Manager and restarted. Then I restarted the Eden Prime Mission. From the elevator I went straight on towards the back of the housing pods, to find the one with the transmission on how to open the pod. After that I returned to the bridge and kept right towards the second pod data entry with info on how to deactivate stasis. It worked.(I tried it before in reversed order and had another crash...) Now it seems ok.Hope that helps.
