Damn, femshep voice acting is so much better than maleshep. :/
I did get the short version and it was great but not on the same level as this. Guess I have to follow through with my femshep playthrough after all.

I've done the final mission three times now as Femshep. First playthrough, a second insanity playthrough, then a continued from final mission. Still haven't gotten the extended. I think those people saying they got it were trolling.

Earthborn and Warhero, played on Hardcore difficulty. That is the Shepard I got extended dialogue with. I romanced the shower woman.

I THINK it's because they goofed up the lore. Anderson actually has a kid. He mentions not having children in the audio file. Oops. Damn shame. It sounded like my femshep was losing her father figure.

Happens if you don't have a main LI. Don't think Cortez or Trayner count.

Need video in game proof.

I have a theory... Needs testing. Dont have a save for easy testing. Replaying last mission.

Obviously... no extended chat.

Still no video proof I see. ;)

I see why they cut it (I don't buy the stories of the people saying they got this in game), I'm not sure if I agree with their thinking or not but I get it.

They cut everything regarding Shep settling down and having a family, and kept the meat of the rest of the exchange. The whole idea of Shepard with a family never really gets raised or discussed at any point in the rest of the Trilogy, so it does come a little out of left field right there. However, I can also say that its times like that, when everything's gone to hell and you reflect on how you got there, that you start thinking things like this.

So while I understand their decision to cut the conversation down, I think it would have worked great if they'd kept it in.

Got a similar conversation with my male shepard, tho i think he refered to me as "son". Was a pure import paragon and only paragon through ME3 except for the Udina/Kai moments. Had 100% readiness via multiplay but im sure you can do it just fine without.

Where did he ever say he had a kid? Besides, how f***ing stupid do you have to be to cut that entire dialogue just because of one wrong line? They could have easily changed it from "I never had a family" to "I won't ever get to see my kid again". Hell, my one is even sadder.

Also, this whole dialogue would have been a great way to show the players actions in-game! When Anderson asks Shep about Family, Shep could've mentioned his LI and what they plan on doing. When Anderson says "Ever think about settling down?" and, say, your with Tali, he could respond with "Ya, I like the sound of that. There's this great place on Rannoch. What a view. You should see it."

Probably been mentioned, but I hear you get this when you haven't romanced anybody.

I think the kid is his wife's with her new husband.  Not really his kid.

Actually, if you stayed true to Liara in the LotSB, you can mention having a lot of little blue children with her.  So there is some precedent for this dialogue.

I think it is in the first book. Kid + ex-wife or something.

When you invite Liara up to your cabin at the end. Liara asks Shepard what happens it this all ends tomorrow and one of the two dialogue option is "marriage, old age and a lot of little blue children". It is also mentioned once or twice in Liara ME3 romance scenes too

You also get the 'settle down/kids' dialogue with Garrus in ME3 just before the final mission.

I didn't get this dialogue btw, just the shorter version.

no its def there. i had 100% world at war or whatever its called and my war assests were in the 7000's. Paragon and I had a LI. It's totally possible. I shot the Illusive man, though not sure if that makes a difference.

I only said I thought. Somewhere in the back of my head I thought he at some point mentioned he had a family. Just that it was used in a book or comic. I could be wrong. Why I only said I think.

Traynor also says about settling down and having 2 kids and a house with white fence(and a dog too, me thinks) before the final mission...
