I thought Anderson had a family, I think there was hint in the Shadow Broker Files.

Also Jacob and Shepard have a discussion about settling down in ME3 if you talk to him before you evacuate the scientists. Jacob dismisses the thought that my Femshep could ever settle down for a quiet family life.

Have you replayed from the save point you get after you beat the game? Just doing the last mission again. Can you get a repeat? If so, could you upload your save file so I could load it up and fraps it?

No, I haven't. It is character imported from ME 2 (which was imported from ME 1).

I played on hardcore difficulty

I think this has been pointed out, but honestly, I haven't researched it. I'm finishing yet another ME2 save, and I just got to LotSB, so I'll check it out.

Also, the tears....the tears ;_;

NOOOOO! The tears keep coming. I liked Anderson because he was not only your mentor but also a father figure to Shepard. Ugh. I'm working on another play through as well on insanity. Thanks OP for finding this, even though it's bittersweet, I wished they added it to the game.

I see why they cut it (I don't buy the stories of the people saying they got this in game), I'm not sure if I agree with their thinking or not but I get it.

They cut everything regarding Shep settling down and having a family, and kept the meat of the rest of the exchange. The whole idea of Shepard with a family never really gets raised or discussed at any point in the rest of the Trilogy, so it does come a little out of left field right there. However, I can also say that its times like that, when everything's gone to hell and you reflect on how you got there, that you start thinking things like this.

So while I understand their decision to cut the conversation down, I think it would have worked great if they'd kept it in.

Traynor also says about settling down and having 2 kids and a house with white fence(and a dog too, me thinks) before the final mission...

I'm glad it got cut. Kids/Family is definitely something that should be left to player imagination or player choice. It certainly shouldn't be added in auto dialogue.

That fits the situation, and even if that's not the case it'd be an acceptable retcon in my opinion. 

Honestly if it IS in the game it should be standard because it's incredibly touching, regardless of endings or not. Even if character-wise, a player's Shepard would not even consider kids, it's a very raw moment of candor because the dialogue doesn't commit to anything in particular.

The part where Anderson says '*I'M* proud of you' gets me every time, especially with the Mansell track in the background...

Not sure if I got the entire thing or not but I did hear this conversation in my playtrough. If there's a shortened version could be, but I doubt they'd do that.

6k EMS, TIM convo para para (then couldn't get the last paragon choice to make him shoot himself), renegade interrupt when he was trying to shoot anderson.

Earthborn sole survivor, romanced Kaidan, Kelly, Taynor if that helps.

The extended conversation is not in the game. People saying they've heard it in game are confusing it with the cut down version (which has the beginning and ending of the clip).

After listening to that a few time, there is a link to that blog on penny arcade comment, I still can't make it past 'no you did good' without breaking down. They could have ended there with like 5 seconds for Shep to reach up to the console and fire the crucible and I would have been happier
