They did have material for the best ending ever. Why did they screw everything with the elevator and the stupid kid ? Seriously ? Was it so hard to make a proper ending right after you use the console ? This ****** me off.

Im still seriously blown away by Hale's performance in this. Makes me glad I played Femshep.
Jen hale is magic. I can't play Male Shepard, the voice acting just isn't the same.

Then I listened to the cut dialogue with "An ending once and for all" in the background.
Cried for 5 minutes.
Guess that makes me a pansy.

Originally when Anderson died I didn't think much of it (Other than the obvious "Goodbye bro, you did good too" reaction).

i admit writting like this makes me get teary eyed and theres nothing wrong with it

Mark Meer isn't bad but there definitely isn't any comparison.Renjin wrote...

I see why they cut it (I don't buy the stories of the people saying they got this in game), I'm not sure if I agree with their thinking or not but I get it.
They cut everything regarding Shep settling down and having a family, and kept the meat of the rest of the exchange. The whole idea of Shepard with a family never really gets raised or discussed at any point in the rest of the Trilogy, so it does come a little out of left field right there. However, I can also say that its times like that, when everything's gone to hell and you reflect on how you got there, that you start thinking things like this.
So while I understand their decision to cut the conversation down, I think it would have worked great if they'd kept it in.
Actually, if you stayed true to Liara in the LotSB, you can mention having a lot of little blue children with her. So there is some precedent for this dialogue.
this and gets mention as well in ME3 again with liara.

I want my little blue children! Lots of them! One to be a Comando, one to be a Specter, and one to be the Shadow Broker in training!

No. This has been cut from the game. Anyone who says they have gotten it in game is getting it mixed up with the short version.

So, did anyone actually get this dialogue in game?
It's not in game. It was cut out. There is a shorter version in game, but this long version was cut out.

Apparently Casey Hudson decided this was way too much information for us. :
Yup... But at least we get to hear this AMAZING piece, and it wasn't just lost to the back room of editing.

Y'know, I would've thought the 'settling down with kids' thing would've been out of place for my Shepard too, if I hadn't talked to Garrus and found out he wanted to be a dad. All of a sudden my headcanon did a 180. I just can't resist this face.
