You may ask, why have thread for this 6 characters?
Reason is simple, this characters with separate threads would be very inactive and be forgotten.

Since they are damn heroes in ME3, they deserve to have an active character appreciation thread.

*WARNING, MAJOR SPOILERS FOR ALL CHARACTERS*

Mordin Solus

Mordin Solus is a salarian geneticist, professor, and a former operative of the Special Tasks Group, where he performed reconnaissance and participated in the modification of the genophage.
His moral is best described as consequentialistic, believing the ends justify the means, though he dislikes taking life without good cause. His actions are often guided by an impersonal logic, refusing to let his conscience, personal, and emotional connections cloud his judgment of what he believes is truly best in the big picture. Though he is affable, quick-talking and friendly.

In Mass Effect 2 he assists you by creating counter-messueres against Collector Seeker swarms.
Shepard also assists him to save his former assistant Maleon from Krogans, only to find out he was doing brutal experiments to cure the genophage.

In Mass Effect 3, Mordin cures the genophage using survivors of Maelon's brutal experiments. Do to STG sabotaging the Shroud to prevent curing of genophage, long time ago, Mordin decides to sacrifice himself to cure the genophage and ensure krogan and turian alliance.

Mordin Solus is voiced by Michael Beattie in Mass Effect 2 and by William Salyers in Mass Effect 3.

Urdnot Grunt

Grunt is a genetically engineered krogan super soldier. Bred and educated in a tank, he was intended to exemplify the best traits of the krogan, and help reinvigorate his species.
Just like most krogans, Grunt is violent and ruthless. His personality almost like from a 6 years old child, though at the same time wise.

In Mass Effect 2 he can join clan Urdnot by surviving or defeating Thresher Maw.

In Mass Effect 3 he helps you to investigate possible rachni presence by leading famous Aralakh Company, best krogan warriors from many krogan clans.
While escaping rachni caves, he tells Shepard to leave him behind to hold of rachni's. After epic battle to hold them off, he can die if he didn't join clan Urdnot in Mass Effect 2. If he joined the clan, he escapes rachni caves injured and fully covered by his foes blood.

Grunt is voiced by Steve Blum.

Eve

Eve is a female krogan shaman and that was cured from genophage with help of Maleon, just like her sisters. But, that cure weaken hers immune system that almost got her killed, while her sisters died.

Eve shows another perspective of krogans as well. Even though she would ruthlessly kill an enemy like any other krogan, she is quite diplomatic, accept alien help with no hesitation if she needs it and wants to culturally evolve krogans so that they don't go to another war with aliens and to play part in galactic societies.

She can die if you don't keep Maleon's genophage cure data in Mass Effect 2, but if you do she will keep Wrex or Wreav in check not to decide and make revenge war on salarians and turians do to genophage, while other races just for hell of it.
She can also be killed by a ancient turian bomb on Tuchanka, if you don't disable it.

It's notable to say that her real name is not Eve and reason she has it is do to not being very trustful with salarians nor other aliens yet so Mordin or Wiks calls her Eve. Reason for Eve is because she's is being treated and protected on human ship, so Mordin or Wiks use human mythology to give her a name.
In case she survived the conflict, she will tell her real name to Shepard and it's Bakara.

Eve is voiced by Lani Minella.

Kirrahe

Captain Kirrahe is an officer in the salarian military. He is a member of the 3rd Infiltration Regiment STG (special task group), a covert operations team that was sent to investigate Virmire, where he discovered Saren's base of operations. Kirrahe is a brave, intelligent salarian with a good strategic mind; he is able to inspire his men, and is also prepared to make sacrifices if necessary.

In Mass Effect 3 he's promoted to Major and assists you in defense against Cerberus raid on salarian secret base on Sur'Kesh.
He can sacrifice himself to save Salarian Councilor from Cerberus assassin Kai Leng, during Udina's coup.

Captain Kirrahe is voiced by George Szilagyi.

Legion

Legion is the name taken by the gestalt consciousness formed by 1,183 geth programs inhabiting a unique geth mobile platform.

Legion, just like other synthetics, is driven by logic and curious about organics. Though he also has big interest in Commander Shepard and probably having some feelings without knowing himself.
He also shown playful characteristic by doing robot dance and playing video games.

In Mass Effect 2 he asks you to take down Geth Heretics, geth faction that serves Reapers and responsible for all geth attacks in Mass Effect 1 and 2, by either rewriting them with virus that they planed to use on Legion's Geth faction or destroying them by blowing up their base.
He also shoves that his True Geth faction is open for peace with quarians and later convinces Tali for peace as well.

In Mass Effect 3 Legion assists you in Geth-Quarian conflict, which was caused after quarians forced all geth to join Reapers and gain Reaper upgrades and intelligence, but become indoctrinated.
Legion gains that too, but is immune to indoctrination.
In final assault of Rannoch and destroying a Reaper that controls all Geth, Legion sacrifices himself to save his people while Shepard tries to convince Qaurians to stop shooting at the disabled Geth, which creates peace and alliance between geth and quarians.

It's also worth mentioning that Legion always referred himself as "we" until final moments of his life before sacrificing, he calls referred himself as "I".

Legion is voiced by D.C. Douglas.

David Edward Anderson

David Edward Anderson is a human war hero and the original captain of the SSV Normandy. He is one of the Alliance's most decorated special forces operatives, and the first to graduate from the N7 marine program at Arcturus Station, serving with honor in the First Contact War and first, bur failed, candidate for human Spectre.

Anderson was also a tutor for Commander Shepard until he/she become a Spectre.
In Mass Effect 1 he puts himself in danger by attacking Udina or C-Sec to help Shepard to escape Citadel and catch Saren.
He can also become first human Councilor, but quits the job do to being sick of politicians.

In Mass Effect 3 he helps Shepard not to be quickly court-marshaled and send to jail for working with pro-human terrorists organization Cerberus and blowing up Alpha Relay that killed over 300,000 Batarians and wiped out entire Bahak System which almost caused a war with Batarian Hegemony.

Padok Wiks

Padok is a scientist for the STG, researching a cure for the Genophage. However, his previous career had him
involved with uplifting lesser species. This is something Padok Wiks deeply regrets, as during the course of his career, he became fascinated with the role that evolution plays in the course of the galaxy. He gradually came to the conclusion that every species is valuable and has something to contribute to the evolutionary destiny of the galaxy, he now believes his fellow salarians were arrogant in believing they had the right to interfere with the destinies of either the krogan or any other lesser species, even if that interference took the form of "uplifting."

If the Commander decides to keep their word and help cure the Genophage, then Wiks will give his life to spread
the cure. If the Commander takes Dalatrass Linron up on her offer then Shepard will be forced to shoot Padok. The Commander will not be able to talk down Padok unless Eve is dead and Wreav is Urdnot clan leader.

Padok is voiced by ???.

Mordin and Anderson, my two main heroes in the game. I'll be honest, blubbed the whole way through their deaths.

From the word go, Anderson cares about Shepard, giving away his ship, and will do anything to help Shep. He is there at the beginning, and at the end of it all. His dying speech was heart wrenching.

I don't think I have cried for any fictional characters death more than Mordins. His happy, jovial attitude until the end made the tears so much worse. Just thinking about it makes me feel teary.

I also love Legion and his moving "eyebrows". He has an almost sentimental feel to him (saving Shepards armor, and the rifle from a historical agricultural geth, possibly him?).

Goddammit I love Legion! I cried when he died... I would love to have more interactions with him in ME3... He is so cute and adorable (I know it's kinda weird, but I can't help myself) ;)

Major Kirrahe is a big goddamn hero.

His death was actually one of the most moving parts of the game.

Finally something for Mordin and Legion - best characters in a game. I still struggle and try not to cry when I think about them.

To think my 2 most favourite characters died in such a heroic style...To see him singing while everythig around him collapsed. And Legion counting nearly game me heartattack.
Best moments ever. I knew trusting them was the best option.

And Anderson... Where would I be without him. That was when the game really ended for me.Thanks to these moments, I can swallow the ending. (as long someone explains what actually happened to the galaxy there).

Legion's last scene was possibly my favourite in the whole series. Especially his final words. He's probably now my favourite non-ME3-squadmate character.

Mordin's last scene was just stunning.

ME3 pulled off those character moments *so* well.

Every single one of those characters went down like a boss.

I loved their last scenes. Especially when Legion refered to himself as I and called "Creator Tali'Zorah" simply Tali.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I shed a few tears at their death.

The end with Anderson...
"You did good child...You did good."

I was fighting tears this whole game, till Thane and Anderson went out. Thane I have a personal story and reason for, but Anderson...

That was it. That was the "tear fest" I really needed.

Mordin and Anderson for the win!

Even though she was new I would add Eve to the list. Especially if she survives in your playthrough.

In all fairness, Thane already has his own popular support thread. Yet, there's barely any love for these characters. They dont have their own specific support thread.

Yeah.
That's the reason why I didn't add Thane.

Unless more people ask to add Thane, he has his own support thread that is quite active to be talekd about.

Eve can also die if you don't do the bomb mission in time. I got a message from Wrex telling me Eve and a bunch of krogan were killed by that bomb. I felt so bad I went back to an earlier save and did the bomb mission right away.
