Do the Galaxy Collection Assignments in ME1 affect ME2 or ME3? Or do they have any affect on the larger ME1 storyline?

I'm talking about:
UNC: Prothean Data Discs
UNC: Turian Insignias
UNC: Valuable Minerals
UNC: Locate Signs of Battle
UNC: Asari Writings

Not in 2 that I can see.

I think the purposes of those, beyond gaining extra xp, was to expand the lore of the Mass Effect universe in non-essential ways similar to some of the codex entries. Of course, I'm still learning about what I thought were inconsequential encounters in Mass Effect 1 & 2 that play some part in 3 (which I haven't played yet)

I have been hunting around as well for an answer to this, the only one I have seen so far is the Asari writings one having a small effect on Conrad.
