Honestly, if players really have to make all that effort to understand a friggin ending, the developers fails miserably in their presentation. This is video game that everything was pretty clear since the first of the franchise, and now they want to be highly philosophical and mysterious in the last 10 minutes? Talks about consistency.
Even if it's true, it's still awfully wrong to again, cut you out of the perfect ending just because they want to sell more DLC. They leave sour taste in our mouth in what supposedly a closure of the series. That's poor artistic practice. If this is true the only thing I see is pure greed, unless they make the closure DLC for free.
Like someone said in the fitst page, it's like selling Mass Effect 2 without the collector base mission. The analogy can go on forever. It's still **** ending.
