joker didnt run anywhere, cept in sheps imagination.
he never went to any relay and never crashed...

hes where you left him, so is shep, so is your team, what you saw after harbingers beam hits you and shep "waking up" at best ending is all hallucination then indoc attempt. and hallucination again

if shep is not unconscience then why would he have to wake up? what else would he be waking up from?
yes, page one, read it.

You sound really arrogant... "you are at stage .001 of understanding indoc theory. " We are not stupid and
understand your theory but that dosn't make it true. accept it. Don't act like you know this is the true ending until Bioware said something.

Your are asking me to make sense of something that was written to not make sense on purpose. Maybe its all just to get you to "OMG RELAYS" and freak while they laugh at you with the DLC disk in hand at the office.

If this "True Ending" DLC will be free, it will just be the worst trolling I've ever seen in a video game. If not, it will be the most disgusting cash grab I've seen. The damage has been done.

What, you mean that people dont treat your "theories" as facts, and remain skeptical, especially since developer intentions in the script, the Stargazer scene, and even the tweet calling shep living an "Easter Egg" as opposed to "Critical plot point"....

You guys are the ones treating this theory as fact, betraying the very word "theory". Infact this isnt even a theory, it's techically still in the hypothesis stage.

Evidence, not fact. We are bringing up arguments to support our explenation where the other explenation is supported by 'bad writing' and endlessly people calling out were wrong without being able to counter are arguments.

They have countered you, many times, and you guys have dismissed it. It isn't evidence, it's *interpretation* of what's presented, being used as evidence. Plot holes become indoctrination, Easter Eggs become critical plot points, and artistic license becomes subtle hints, even though this goes against the very narrative and obvious style of this Space opera in its previous titles and 99% of ME3.

Yet any explanation that resorts to bad writing must contend with a vast amount of real evidence that if Bioware's writers are anything, they are not bad writers.

The outrage is that these endings we have are so antithetical to the rest of the body of work, and that the company underestimated (I think) the risk of leaving us hanging with such an incongruous plot device.

It may have been a brilliant plan on paper, but that plan has not survived the engagement. Now, however, the whole will be laden with the sentiments now festering.

It is almost as if the business plan for timed release is mirroring the plot itself. They have built the device, but it isn't ready to fire. Meanwhile the customers are filling up with negativity.

Bioware better come through, or there will be no Earth left to save.

ME3 DLC is still ME3
that statement is not false.
ME3 will still be the last

and in mass effect 4 you can use old save games to continue in that world and thats why they say to save those files

Trolling that results in record breaking downloads maybe
I play devils advocate on the marketing stuff because nobody else is willing to do it. i gotta put what thier view is.

"preorder cancelled" didnt work for ME3 or SWTOR
there is alot of confusion and rage right now, but thinking confusion and rage will hurt sales or Biowares future sales is pretty slim, why do they seemingly get bolder and bolder with every new DLC?
becasue the model is working

When EA closed their ME3 forum just after ME3 release and directed the EA community to Bioware ME3 forums I wondered at the reason for this.I think I'm starting to get the picture and I'm not going to miss this one think I will stick around for a bit.......

So when someone doesnt understand the theory, and Tiax tries to help them understand, you are calling him arrogant for saying others dont understand the theory? If you understand it then it obviously isnt aimed at you.

Im with the OP here.
i was fkn fuming at the ending I originally got due to the it, well, not holding water in the ME universe.
When I redid it and chose the right ending that 20second ending made it all fall into place...
Plus listening to the Indoctrination Codec helps.

I am happy with this ending but I they release a DLC I believe it was intended and gonna be fkn massive in scope.

Indeed, we where indoctrinated, and it was planned. People need to understand that some theories come around as the crumbs were always pointing at it. Or as Mordin said, 'No proof. Just evidence that points to theory'... or something liek that.

Plus Hudson spoke of 'polarizing' the fans... Indoctination theory vs Poor Story wrting???
Uhhh...

PS Am I the only one that thinks the reapers are mechanical cuttle fish???

On Deciding the End of the Game
The
illusive man boss fight had been scrapped... but there was still much
debate. On night walters scribbled down some thought on various ways the
game could end with the line "Lots of speculation for Everyone!" at the
bottom of the page.

And even in November the gameplay team was
still experimenting with an endgame sequence where players would
suddenly lose control of Shepard's movement and fall under full reaper
control. (This sequence was dropped because the gaemplay mechanic proved
too troublesome to implement alongside dialogue choices).

I think this proves otherwise as they had the idea.

Are you trolling me on purpose??

sorry for double post

In my opinion the ending has the least amount of plot holes.

My main problem if with the Citadel that went from nothing but a huge relay in Mass Effect to the Reaper's child overlord thing in Mass Effect 3

hahaha, oh wow.  No, Tiax has been around "these" boards since the orginal NWN days.  If he really is Casey Hudson then he is the most masochistic BW employee I know of.
