And that is why starting a thread in the most smug and condescending manner you can manage, and insisting upon maintaining a tone of smugness and condescension (as Tiax did) is not a good strategy for winning people over to your point of view.

As for his offer to apologise, I saw him tell one person that if he was wrong he would PM an apology to them (I believe it was earlier in this thread, but it may have been another.) Not impressed.

ya, know I MUST be rude and condescending because I don't really notice im doing it. I guess that makes me worse? you see Its hard to convey any kind of "tone" when you are posting on the internet.

people who know me, even the mods will know exactly when i am angry or pushy

I dont feel like i have to put "in my opinion" or "with due respect" or " dont take me the wrong way" before every post in order to not offend people. I just assume after 60 pages that it a given, that what im saying "is my opinion"

The thread title is kinda like that. I actually thought for a while on how am i suppused to word this so people dont "take me the wrong way" the people who read it as intended saw it as AN answer if not THE answer to their issues/ problems and a lot have thanked me for it, here and in PM.

The people who shouldn't be in this thread anyways read the title as me trying to tell people that "im right, your wrong" and then go into anything of mine they read as being rude and condescending. Well here is the thing people. You are going to get dissagreed with from time to time. and you will be wrong from time to time. but doesn't mean that anybody who points this out or tries to change your mind is doing so JUST because they have a need to prove themselves as right.

I LITERALLY did this to put people at ease..

there is 2 types of people:
The person who came here for answers, reads the post, then makes up thier mind wether they agree or NOT
The other camp already knows they dont agree by the thread title and comes here to rant and insult.

I kinda thought that too, There are many videos describing Indoc theory online but this one is FAR and above the best and most accurate to the theory. On top of that it uses AMAZING in game references and clips to provide hard evidence for everything.

The bottom line it this video cannot be called "untrue" because its all logical, referenced and well thought out. It can still be called "unproven" or "unconfirmed" but you simply cannot deny the logic and strightforwardness of the video.

It also mentioned the DLC thing at the end of it also and Referenced that edning DLC was EXACTLY what happen with the last Prince of Persia game, just as its hinted at here.

In more general terms, ending a series on DLC or an Expantion pack is not unbelievable or even all that uncommon. I cite the series that MADE Bioware into what it is today. Baldur's Gate 1, Baldur's Gate 2 and Throne of Bhall Expantion. This is the same really, one story, one character with the final scene and climax is in a expantion pack for BG2. BG2 had an ending video of about 3 minutes long or so. the first half of that was wrapping up BG2 story the second half was ALL one big huge segue into the next product. Nobody ever seems to think that Bioware is evil for not releasing the EX as part of the main game, for any reason you can provide. So why is it so different now? It is all about gamers' attitudes and how you percieve it. Of course you want more now, of course you want better now but take a deep breath and let things play out. If they release a ending DLC and say its free as "hinted at". Then what is the big deal? it will load into ME3 and now you just have a bigger more complete ME3 for no extra cost. I got NO issues with any of that.

Now if its paid, its different but not by all that much. Knowing how the spin works, Bioware will tell people "ME3 HAD and ending, this is just bonus material for those who want it"   and just like "day one DLC is not needed, its extra" it cant be proved wrong. You don't have to like it but they are right.

I for one was happy with me3 as is but more is ALWAYS better. ah, another thought as well. Lots of people go back to Bioware when people said that ME3 would end the series. Two points:
one, ME3 DLC with and ending to ME3 is still "ending the series with ME3" see? its spin or word parsing, but its true.
two, if they decided that it wasnt the end after all and there was a ME4 with Shep, then why all the hate? personally I want to see as much as I can. They can make 4-5-6-7 as long as they are GOOD. Im not going to yell at them for not ending a series at a pre-ordained number. End it when it ends.

A lot of people are confused at the ending and dont understand it (this statement is true regardless of which ending explenation you support).

"I think" applies opinion. In this case it implies that the OP considers the above statement true.
"I want to help you" - He has helped allot of people who were confused understand the endings. If you reject this explenation and understand the endings in another way, that is up to you, but there are many people who have been helped by OP's statements.

If you have your own understanding of the endings, and dont agree with those of the OP, then that is fine, that is totally up to you, you are free to your opinion. But that really gives you no place in this thread since you are clearly not seeking help to understand the endings in the first place.

The only reason you are calling the OP pretentious and condescending is because you dont agree with him, and the title of this thread is completely fair, correct, and states exactly the OP's intentions.

I see offering an apology as extending an olive branch and a request for open-mindedness. I really dont know where ALL of this suspected hostily you see in my words is coming from.

BTW did i personally slight you in some manner because in till now I dont recall ever you being somebody I quoted adressed or replied to. and if you dont want to believe in Indoc theory, then this thread isn't even adressed to you at all.

Ya, i mean even I am not 100 percent sure of myself. close but not completly. Though its not for a lack of evidence supporting it. Just the lack of confirmation. We wont get the just yet. We KNOW they will get adressed and things will clear up right away. For now it stays as "theory"

Yeah this thread needs to get back on topic.
To me it makes sense becasuse the entire series revolves around indoctrination Had'dah, Dr. Qian , Saren , The collectors , TIM. Some of those people where not even around the reapers for very long and they became indoctrinated such as Had'dah who only visited Sovereign. Shepard was around repears and reaper tech so much it would be bizarre if he was not indoctrinated by this point.

For many of us its the most logical explenation out there. Id go as far as to say for me its the only logical explenation, since nobody has presented me with an alternative understanding of the endings that makes sense. Doesnt mean its 100% solid and nothing is fact untill confirmed by Bioware, and they are being awfully quiet so far. By the way, is that small voice in your head accompanied by humming maybe? hallucinations? I might have some bad news for you pal...

I agree with you that the "N7 breath" scene is the true ending. The problem is that, if that's true, this game, this trilogy, currently ends with a ****ing cliffhanger+ cut to black. No closure. No resolution.

Supposed to end because Bioware said so? They can change thier mind.
Supposed to because its a trilogy and I like the number 3?   There are no rules broken
Supposed to end because I bought a "complete game"? You got one. Its complete. otherwise every movie/ game/ book with a sequel is "incomplete" and should be chastized.

some people say entitlement.  I find that its just a rage inducing term. But.. you need to accept that you got what you paid for. I am not saying you have to like it, by any means. Just don't hate it for the wrong reasons.

He didn't say that it was supposed to be anything hes just saying that the fact that it ends in a cliffhanger is dissapointing and I would have to agree it is dissapointing. and for what its worth if DLC is out and free, I gues ill prob still wish the ending had a tad more.  Really though alot hinges on the DLC or future content idea. For me im convinced its coming and once we all have "ME3 Deluxe" so to speak then there is no issue as you will now have 2 endings in the same game for the price of one.

I guess but theres many games I consider the game over screen the ending since I know I'll never be able to beat them.

I would certainly commend 'Tiax Rules All' for his work here.

He has been called 'high minded', 'condescending', 'obnoxious' and an 'idiot'.  And that was only in the first 10 pages of this thread.

Unfortunately some mistake his confident manner for arrogant iconoclasm.

He should be applauded for his patience.

And his vocabulary is second to none.
'Chastise' alone should be worth quite a bit in the 'good word usage' category.

and also the term patch might imply that its a "fix" for the ending as aposed to additional content

nowhere in "download content" does it mean payment is required.
