I don't feel as if I can adequately describe how truely amazing the
story of mass effect has been. It is an expirence, one that takes you to
places...Not just to planet clusters, ships, or battlefields but
emotional ones as well.
Beyond the story is the setting, one that is
framed with breathtaking backdrops, familiar faces, old friends and
enemies, an impassioned soundtrack and within it all the power of
choice.

In the mass effect saga we have always known that our
ends do not always justify the means. Throughout the story we have have
one tool at our dissposal and that is the ability to choose.

The
choice to give into powerful emotions, to wade through endless sorrow
and death to bring together an entire galaxy. We were the catalyst for
hope. Hope that elevated us to heroic heights and hurled us to desperate
levels of despair. We were all allowed to make our own path, to decide
who we brought with us, who we left behind, but always aware of the path
that we were destined to.

The memmorial aboard the normandy gave
me a moment of pause, it had an impact that went beyond what I had
already done. How many more names were going to end up on it? How many
are on it already because I made the wronge choice?

The war gives
everyone a reason to need your help, and everyone you help has reason
to join the war. The story and game play were nothing short legendary.
The balance between weapons and abilities felt fantastic. The character
devlopement was slightly off from ME2, although I did enjoy the jokes
and banter between party members aboard the normandy, and its value
cannot be understated.

Romance intrests in ME3 didnt feel quite
as natural or built up as they did in ME2. Those are huge parts of the
game that I and I'm sure many others enjoy immensely and add soo much to
the game that they should be given more attention.

The ending is
hard to describe. It's a mixed bag. Satisfying in some ways, but short
sighted, senseless and ultimately too simple.

The entire series is based on choice and the choices I was given do not match the sheer scale of the adventure they ended.

I
spent so much time moving forward in battle mode and pushing through
the obstacles but I never forgot to take the time to look around, to
take in all that the game has given us over the years.

I'd like to thank everyone who's been a part of an amazing experience. I'll miss it deeply.
