Put together a compilation video of just some of the hundreds of enemies I've launched into orbit and exploded using the combination slam + shoot with cryo ammo Scorpion while in midair. This basically slams a frozen enemy into the ground, launches him into the air, and explodes him as the Scoprion round goes off. I played through 80% of ME3 with this gun/combo alone and still can't help but laugh every time one of these things set a new height record.

Yep it unlocks when you get Javik. The whole Scorpion thing isn't half as fun without shooting the poor things half way across the map

Upon further inspection, it seems that the Scorpion has a really awesome side effect of causing Tech Bursts a good bit AFTER the enemy dies... I used it all the time through my playthrough and I never noticed that.
I could see a lot of deadly possible setups happening.

Takes some getting used to aiming single shots on floating targets that suddenly smash towards the floor, but worth it. Seriously overpowered gun if you ask me. With a high level magazine upgrade you can take down as many normal enemies as you have bullets for, and even more advanced enemies only take a couple of shots. That's on normal though.

Is it bad that I'm actually considering getting the Prothean DLC just because of this video? I already canceled my SWTOR account because I was upset with Bioware... But this is just... It's so cool... >.>

That was already my favorite pistol to use as an Adept.
Definately will have to try that with Cryo Ammo and Slam as an Infiltrator though, looks like much fun.

Being an ilfiltrator isn't technically necessary though. A class with cryo ammo is all you need, as slam is a power bonus from Javik. Being able to stealth behind targets do often make for the best results though

I just had that happen tonight except I had no idea what it was, but it makes sense now becasue Liara was using the scorpoin and Slam is my bonus power plus I use Javik.

I personally like to use a lift grenade and while the dude is in the air hit them with the maxed out double biotic push. Sends them into orbit.

Does the head shot damage upgrade on Cryo Ammo work only with weapons that have Cryo Ammo active or does it work with any weapon if the target is frozen?
