Bonus unlocks come from conversations from the squadmates. Chances are you don't have warp ammo unlock because you haven't had the appropriate conversation (was Liara a previous LI?) and it's possible to miss at least some of the unlocks. During my first runthrough I missed the latter parts of Ashley's storyline, and never got Marksman as a result. I assume you might be able to miss them if you don't treat them well, also.

ITs fine if I just haven't had the conversation in question, yet - I'm just trying to figure out if its a glitch, as everyone keeps saying 'you'll just get it at some point' - thats not much help in figuring out if I've passed that point already. I think what puzzled me a little is that you have Liara from Mars onwards and she still hasn't given me any abilities, despite both James, Garrus and Javik offering me theirs.
That said, I'm still very early in my game - I've actually only completed Prologue/Mars, From Ashes, Menae and Grissom Academy - haven't even did Sur'Kesh yet. Like I said, just trying to figure out whether if its a glitch or whether it just isn't given early (I had a similar issue with Javik - couldn't figure out whether it was intended that he not be an option until Palaven has been done).

The conversation unlocks come in early-to-midgame. I believe one of Liara's convos was the one about her 'project' for example.

These conversations are full cutscenes. Trust me you'll know them when you have them.

When game came out I played with Kaiden and I know I unlocked at least one of his powers. After some te I saw my stats reseted (kills were on zero). Also I couldn't select any bunus powers on my next play with Ashley. Thank god that now after a year I still have bonus power I unlocked when playing with her but I was wondering how to get back Kaiden powers? Do I really have to play whole game with him just to get his powers? Cause he is annoying.

For future reference, please check the date on past posts prior to posting. You don't have to necro a year old thread just to ask a simple question. Yes you do have to do a play through with Kaiden, which is made easier by the fact you can start a new game without importing and choose him as the survivor. Then play up until the point where the game notifies you that you have unlocked his second power, which will be available in the med bay.
