Well title says it all, Bioware should stop noobing out and bring Shepard and the core companions back in ME4.

I dont understand why Bioware wants to stop the Shepard story in Mass Effect, they should make it so that Shepard IS Bioware just like Master Chief IS Xbox.

Lets be honost for a moment, most of us (if not all of us) want Shepard to continue his Legacy as the main character in future Mass Effect games, and we want to see the core companions back aswell.

So Bioware, stop trying to make things a hell of a lot more complicated and keep it simple... Gives us Shepard and his team back in future Mass Effect Games! That way you keep everyone happy AND you make alot more money... It really is that simple...

P.S Im not english and im trying my best to word what im thinking, sorry if i messed it up a bit :P

No Shepard no Mass Effect for me. I tried it with no Warden in DA2, didn't work then doesn't work now.

I am not sure I want Shepard back in ME4, but then again... Mass Effect without Garrus feels just... Wrong.

I don't care about Shepard coming back to be honest. Too many game mascots keep making the rounds more times than they should.

And maybe I'm the only one, but I liked Hawke.

Bioware makes great characters, they should be able to make others we care about.

No. I don't want another Mass Effect. It's called a trilogy for a reason. It's got the "tri" there; as in three. I expected three epic games and that's what I got until...

I don't want Mass Effect 4.

Just like I didn't want Baldur's Gate 3.

I have no problems with a game in the Mass Effect universe nor any problem with a game in the Forgotten Realms universe - but every good story needs a beginning and an end (and I refer to Baldur's Gate when I speak of a good end).

Shepard has had his story (though I'd appreciate if we'd actually would see that story come to a succinct end), so there's no reason to bring him forth. Let other heroes shine and get their chance to make their mark on the stars and beyond.

I still want the ending to mass effect 3. Something must be wrong with the game, because I just can't seem to find it.

Well, if you want to see Shepard and all the others back in action, what would the story look like?

The mass relays and reapers are gone. Noone except Shepard and the crew aboard the Normandy survived. The normandy crash lands on an unkown planet. Go!

NO, I want his arc to come to end like i was promised. not have a million more plot holes get torn open. and me having more questions at the end of the game than i did at the beginning..... AND NO SPACE MAGIC!? Jesus Bioware I felt like I was playing final fantasy during the last 10 min.....

I don't want Shep back. I wouldn't mind if he was around. but I don't need him to be around or have any serious desire for him to be around.

His story is over. Time for a new story to shine.

Absolutely, although, we need to change the name. Mass Effect doesn't make any sense when all the Relays (if what Catalyst says is true) are destroyed.
So?
Not Mass Effect 4?

@Esquin: Except the part that we have still to see the end of the game. The game is sold as "take earth back" and I have yet to see a winning solution as promised in the commercial and endless interviews in between. Unless I actually get that ending I'm calling shenanigans.

I would rather go a few hundred years into the future and see how things turned out.
Make a new plot, maybe something about the first trips into a new Galaxy or something.

They can travel a million years for all I care. Mass Effect is ruined.

I don't. I'd like a new story arc, with mostly new characters, and maybe some nods to the previous games.

Ideally, I'd love to see a new trilogy with Shepard taking on an Anderson/Hackett role. I think that would be quite satisfying, and would be a good way to make fans of the original trilogy feel at home.

I'd prefer if they left everything related to Shepard out of the picture in a new trilogy.

I always expected the series to end (at least in the good endings) with a crippled Shep accepting an admiral postion. So he wouldn't be able to go on missions or anything but he could still helm a ship.

Happy to let shep and Garrus rest as served their purpose and moved the universe along ready for the next, still I hope they get a movie parody similar to Blasto the jellyfish in the next game.
