So, i finally got fed up enough with the lack of meaningful resolution to Mass Effect, so i wrote my own. bare in mind this is specific to my male shep, colonist/sole survivor, romanced Liara, best freind with Garrus. also, it will most likely be critisised for being too "disney," but hey, after Mindior and Akuze, plus fighting the reapers for 3 years, i think my shepard deserves some happyness.

Anderson: You did good child. I'm proud of you.
Shepard: Thank you sir... Anderson?
*Shepard stares out towards earth, as his eyesstart to close, and the screen fades to black... Just before it totally blacks out, there is a loud explosion.*

Liara: He's waking up!
Shepard: Ugh... what happend?
Liara: It worked shepard, the reapers were destroyed.
*Liara leans down and kisses Shepard, a few seconds pass while they just enjoy each others company*
Shepard, looking around the room: Wait, where's Garrus?
Liara: I'm sorry Shepard, he didn't make it... he died when we charged the beam.
Shepard: No...

*fade to black again, this time coming back to a scene on Palaven, in a slightly damaged church-like structure. Overlay reads "3 Weeks Later." Shepard is standing at the front of the room, dressed in full alliance officer formal uniform.*

Shepard: Garrus Vakarian was a good Turian, and a great freind. He sacrificed his life to protect the galaxy, and we... I... owe him a great deal. Garrus, here's to your sacrifice, see you at the bar.

*cut again to after the funeral, Liara, Shepard and Admiral Hackett are talking outside the church-structure*

Hackett: An exxelent service for a great man Shepard.
Shepard: Thank you Sir, i just hope Garrus feel the same way.
Hackett: I'm sure he does. Now, after Andersons death we need a new admiral. I am thinking of putting your name forward, with your consent, of course.
Shepard: Thank you for the offer Sir, but... *glances at Liara* I think i just want to retire now, I've had enough of fighting to last a lifetime.
*Shepard turns fully to Liara*
Shepard: I hear they are rebuilding Thessia...

*Fade out again, this time fade back in showing an Asari house on the outskirts of a half-built city. the overlay reads "15 years later." the camera moves through the house to find Liara and Shepard facing each other, holding hands... they kiss, then 2 young Asari walk into the house.

Asari 1: Hello father.

*both Asari kiss Shepard, then Liara, on the cheek, and the camera leaves the happy family and pans to another room, where the memorial wall from the normandy is standing. It has all the names of the people who have died across the 3 games, with the addition of Garrus Vakarian and David Anderson. The camera holds on this frame for a few moments, leaving enough time to take in the names, then fade to black*

*credits roll*

wow, that really was as theraputic as people say... feeling a lot better about the endings now... BW still needs to fix them though.
