Our perfect ending was some old guy telling his grandson about Shepard and the stars. That is not what i had in mind when i heard "perfect ending."

You weren't lied to. You built up your expectations and the result didn't meet them. Bioware never lied about anything.

You only have yourself to blame.

The endings are still filled with plot holes and inane ideas.

Those need to be fixed regardless of anything anyone says.

Basically, I have let it go - in as much as to say that I have lost all faith in the organization. I do not expect them to fix it - I never asked for that.

However, my wallet was milked. I have every right to express that I feel ripped off. I got boned! This is one of those deals where I feel I should be able to call the Better Business Bureau and say Hey, I got pumped. I'm not going to do that though - even though TWO games now have the worst ending possible. The Terminator Reaper ending was bad, man - so bad. It sucked hard. I loved nearly all of ME2 though, except for planet scanning and the ending - so I sucked it up (mostly). I thought to myself, ok - they will get it right and make such a wonderful ending in 3 that it will surpass/encompass all of the bad ME2's really lame ending. I was even promissed a high quality ending that answered my questions and all of that mess. What I got was a steaming pile of unspeakable stuff. I got what amounts to a 4th grader's answer to the question - they stole the ending from a movie. They didn't even try to answer questions - they just said God made it all good - The End. Pick the door you want, Neo - red, green, or blue. Then watch the little colors dance and then just sit there and blink. DUDE what a letdown!

I don't expect a fix from Bioware/EA. I doubt they give one iota of a care - after all they made the ending. They basically flipped us off, did a helicopter trick - and walked off with a smug look while counting MILLIONS of dollars/euros/whatever. If they didn't try to make a decent ending in the first place - why would they try now?

So, yeah - its all cool. I have dropped it. Count your money Bioware and EA. Count it good, because its the last you are getting from me.

An epilogue could fill in those blanks pretty darn easy, but there is no need in changing the ending like people are suggesting.

Heh, colorful response. Have a little faith. BioWare might do something about it. The reviews everywhere are terrible.

It's freaking sci fi, syntesis is not a new idea.
But the AI does explain what synthesis is and you are not foced to take that route.
