The only times I ever got really mad about kill stealing in ME3 was in the demo and trying to build up rage with my Krogan. I haven't even used the krogan in the full game, I'm over it, lol. But of course since I don't want to use it I have it and all it's armor choices unlocked. /sighs

to be honest if the scorecard at the match end never popped up none of this would be a problem. people are competitive in nature, and unfortunately immature as well. there really is nothing there that is important information. not even the medals.

You realize, that when sniping, you really don't see other people setting up for a kill. You aim for the head and don't look around. And if you're purposely not reviving people for things they may or may not have done on purpose, you're even worse than them. It's not your job to "punish", it's not even your call. Just don't play with them again. If someone is purposely not reviving, they're the one who's getting booted at the end of the match.
It's a TEAM game and you don't sound like a team player either.

it is very easy to see in a scope someone behind cover and an enemy running up to the same cover...its called anticipating the enemy's movment which is very easy to do in this game...

but you are right about one thing...i make sure not to play with them again, especially those who are feening for kills..those who feen make the team have to work harder

I often see the people going soloaly for kills often laying lowest on the scoreboard.

Their crazed obsession also tends to get themselves and others killed.

But one thing, if even if they are ****s, you gotta revive them.

If you punish them by not reviving them, you're basically putting your own team at a disadvantage and risk losing.

as i mentioned it all depends on the level and the amount of enemies left

if its wave 3, im not gonna go run across the map to go revive someone because they want to go run up to the enemy and try to kill everyone before the team can react, i think the rest of the team can handle it and he will automatcailly get up at the end of the wave

if its above wave 5 and he is close by I will revive the person, because odds are we might need a little more help as the waves get harder

i am talking about in the beginning waves if a person is trying to get all the kills, or if a wave is about to end, and they have been kill stealing or being a feen, im not going to put in that extra effort, because if I believe the team can finish the wave, I am not going to sacrifice myself to revive the person all the way across the map and risk the chance of dying myself, it doesnt make sense to me

where did the obsession from getting the kill shot start in this game? people are aware that points are awarded to damage dealt right? its entirely possible to get more points from an assist than a kill. (odd side fact: its also possible to get a 0 point kill or assist.) so if you did most of the work you will still get most of the points. so even if for some crazy reason points really DID matter then you still get rewarded for doing more damage rendering the kill shot completely negligible because its just the difference between the two words.

Their e-peen.  Most gamers, actually most people in general, are insecure to some degree and seek validation outside themselves.  It's a horrible way to live but most of society lives that way.  Seeing their username at the top of a scoreboard, and knowing that three strangers they will never meet, will never see again, and most likely never have even the slightest impact in their lives let alone ever even know who they are since it's just a username, also saw their username on the top of a scoreboard gives them a slight moment of validation they are so desperate for but compleletely lack in the rest of their lives.

It's the same motivation that causes people to spend endless amount of energy talking trash about "celebrities", people they will never met, people who will never truly matter in their lives.  It's the same reason people waste their lives watching fake garbage like jersey shore.  It's easier to tear down others and feel momentarily superior then to actually work to make one's self and one's life what they truly desire.

Best to just ignore them and move on.  You're having to much fun to waste on someone else's self-imposed inadequacy.

It was in regards to a team mate "setting up a kill" not an enemy attacking a team mate. You can easily anticipate the enemy movements, but the post I quoted in my original message was a guy complaining because snipers are stealing the kills he's "setting up"
The sniper has no way to know that his team mate is intending to  "set up" a kill.
