Like ME 1's did, that was nice.
Too bad ME 2 and 3 Achivements don't give bonuses....

Except that you earn those same bonus powers through conversations on your first playthrough, and can train your bonus powers in the medical bay the moment it's unlocked.
ME1 required like 2 playthroughs to unlock Insanity, then another 4 or 5 with a player playing each class to unlock those bonus powers.

I mean the passive bonuses from, use Overload X number of times, have X squad member with you 75% of the game, etc, etc.

... Which you needed to play the game through as those classes to get. Unless you just cheesed the game and monotonously leveled to 10, maxed a power, used it on a wall 100 times, reloaded, maxed a different power, and repeated.
ME2 and ME3 have much better bonus systems.
