So apparently my Mass Effect 3 thinks I last played the game on another 360 console, even though it was last night that I just played on my own xbox. Is anyone else getting this as well?

Yeah just happened to me, the worst part is that although my saved games are fine, it has deleted all my ME3 acheivements and ALL my game history over the past 7 years,
(still have the points but can no longer view, it is as if the games have never been played on my system)
Also happened to my brother, yet he only lost all the achievements for finishing the game.
Hoping for some sort of response as losing all progress and game history is a little depressing.

Just happened to me too. I thought it was a little odd that it was saying I had played on another console, but I just went on anyway. Then I started getting achievements I had already earned, and then I check and my gamerscore is only 35, and no record of any other games I have played are there. But they're still there on the hard drive, so I have faith.
I hope this can be fixed, this was all a little out of the blue.

Ditto. I haven't done a full damage assessment yet but it looks like I've lost all my achievements for just about everything I've ever played.

Yeah, happened to everyone. I lolled a bit, I must say. Imagine the outrage of all those achievement hunters.
On the bright side, now some people can finally rid themselves of those Avatar achievements.

I've just scoured the interwebs, and from what I've read, this is xbox community-wide. Apparently there was a server crash housing the information, but there will be recovery in a few hours. Hopefully this provides some measure of comfort.
This whole situation goes to show just how important our achievements are to us XD.

Same thing happened to me. Achievements are saved in a file on Microsoft servers, how do you manage to delete the entire file unintentionally?
I wouldn't worry though, MS is getting SWARMED with reports of this. I just got off the phone after being on hold for over 20 minutes because of how busy they were and the chat room that I was in posted a report saying that MS is aware of the problem and attempting to correct it at the moment.

A server crash makes sense. Especially a server linking users to their registered console numbers. Our achievements could still be there but made invisible since we're considered foreign users on our own machine?

Yeah, this helps. I won't be connecting my Xbox to the internet until this is fixed, though.

Worked for me. Also it's the solution xboxsupport on twitter is giving people, so it's probably the official solution.

It happened to me too. the played on another console message appeared in the demo. I suppose we have to just reboot the game.
However the achievements are currently not "unlocked" due to what seems to be a Xbox live issue.
I just talked with Xbox live customer service and they say they will fix it soon.
For example I have 27750 gamer points and the systems show that. However just two game are showed in my games history and several of them show the right points but the achievements are still locked.
I hope it's not a ME3 related issue....

It worked for me too. Since the event occurred while I was playing ME3 I feared I lost my ME3 achievements. Luckily it didn't happen.StrawberryViking wrote...
