Is funny how people believe that indoctrination is only in ME3...the good thing about imagination is be creative or go beyond..

What if when the collectors attacked shepard normandy in ME2 cerberus didnt actually rebuild shepard but instead reapers did and make him go into a deep dream or something like that.

Or what if the events of ME1 were only a dream of a kid sleeping in the earth before discovering the mass relays ?

Or what if this didnt actually happen at all..and before the akuze battle shepard dreamed about it or something..or maybe the very first contact with the prothean beacon made him to see what was going to happen somekind of "vision"?

I dont know imagination can be used to fill "holes" that leave the mass effect games..but if we use it we would have endless theories about the game.Anyways i still think knowing that BW stated that this is the end of shepard trilogy a "sad/depressing" ending would be so much better rather than the happy from ME1/ME2..this is just my opinion ofc.

u all are making me to skip on buying the game....
but it will not happen... i'm buying it, i'm gonna play it... there is no way in hell that I will buy dlc for S***Y happy ending(coz it will be made to cool the preasure made bay fans...)
they chose to made these game as it is...
I will definently buy any dlc that has additional misions(but not buying stupid ones like new outfit's for crew or ****y ones like some googles of some fu**** up armor)
point is that i still belive that they have somekind of backup plan for ME...
and as someone alredy said at begining of topic why dont we just lay low time being and try to see what will the "BIG" guys say.XD

I'd pay the 60$ again for another 10 hours of play and a nice ending.

Play the game, finish it, then come back with your final opinion, please.

Really the fact that your choices really had no effect on the end result should've been expected. It's just like real life; your choices shape your path and certain things along the way, but the end result is the same. You die, and the rest of the world keeps going.

I do think BW shipped out a incomplete game obviously they ran out time to finish ME3 just would like to here some news on this matter...the game was awesome through to the end...then the end was a epic fail

and if this "dream-indoctrination theory" is correct and a DLC will be released then its pure BS

I expected ME3 ending to go out in a BIG bang and be awesome... WTF were they thinking

In all honesty, I don't think a new ending should be paid for, but I could live with a community 'unlock' type scenario... plenty of companies have pushed the idea that the community does something small, but once enough of them do it, things get released, etc.

The problem with the 'full of plot holes' argument, is that if all of these plot holes were carried through to an exact and concrete conclusion, with all facts laid bare, there is little to expand upon.

I understand why people are concerned and upset about the plot holes, but there is a negative aspect to laying every possible card on the table - the 'what now? erm.... Dunno' scenario

Why should it be free? Developing a product requires time and resources which in turn require money. Gaming is not charity, this is a business and they're entitled to sell what they work for.

Just because you were not satisfied with the product you purchased before does not entitle you to get their next product for free. You don't like it, don't buy it but don't think anyone is somehow entitled to a free service now.

......please tell me the majority of gamers are not like THIS guy ^^^ <_<

If so - we few in the gaming community who know exactly how bad DLC is to the gaming world will forever miss the old days when DLC did not exist.

I mean are you freaking serious???

This has NOTHING to do with developing a product and releasing it to the public. This guy is clueless as to the point of DLC. We are paying more now for DLC did we ever did for FULL GAMES in the past.  Just look at the DLC created for ME 2. http://social.bioware.com/page/me2-dlc. Without including the the network (which we got for free when we pre-ordered the game) - the cost of everything is 3600 MS points.

http://www.gamestop....v=13ffff0fc0-85

Look at how much MS points cost. 1600 MS points cost 19.99 !!!!!!. That's 20 BUCKS! For not even HALF of the DLC content for ME 2?!

So we paid more then 45 **** bucks for all the DLC in ME 2. That's pretty much the cost of the ME 2 GAME. Hell, 4k MS points cost 49.99 (the cost you pretty much paid for ME 2 - insane right?)

And now IF Bioware WILLINGLY and DECIETFULLY made a horrible ending to the game to get us to fork over MORE money for the 'real' ending - that's just insanity. I cannot comprehend how people would/could justifiy this tactic. Personally - I would be SOOO pissed off as a gamer. Pissed off actually isn't the right word. I would be furious.  The OP is CORRECT 1000% percent on this. The mere fact that some people are defending Bioware on this is un-believe-able. It really is.

We got screwed over when DLC became a main-stream thing. Don't lie and say it was a good thing and it's 'for the gamer'! No it's not. It's a nice way in Bioware's view to extend the game a little more while forcing us to pay a premium price for it. Again look at the DLC content cost for ME 2. Don't tell me the DLC content is worth as much or near as much as the entire ME 2 game. It's NOT. Bioware and EVERY other company who uses this tactic is BENDING every customer over.

You remember when we paid 60 bucks for a game and then got a 30 dollar full expansion? When was the last time Bioware did that? for DA: Orgins??? The expansion wasn't even that GREAT -  And they still had the nerve to throw more DLC content on that game.

You remember when game-fixes were standard and for free? How have we allowed the gaming industry to come to this??

I am urging people - no begging people - DO NOT purchase a 'ending' DLC! If it's for free it's one thing but to pay for this horrible ending gives Bioware license to start using this tactic for everything. Oh we screwed up this aspect of the game you say? Alright - hand over 10/15 bucks and we'll fix it for you. No bioware - I'm not paying ten bucks so you can screw us over some more. This ending should have never been in the game. How do you go from ME 1's ending to this? Bioware has got completely down-hill since EA took over. And it's sad to see because ME 1 was and still is such a great-game.

I paid 60 bucks for a complete game - I expect my 60 HARD-EARNED DOLLARS to be enough to warrant the type of game your team promised (and DELIVERED in the past!).

How much DLC content was there for ME 1? And how long did you other gamers end up playing ME 1? I played ME 1 for 160 hours combined (for all my playthroughs). I played ME 2 roughly 75 hours for two run throughs. I will only be playing ME 3 once. I do not like this trend. I'm not going to be helping Bioware's tactic of DLC content any-longer. I cannot believe how much money I spent on ME 2's DLC. What a freaking rip-off. I'm disgusted with the DLC system in play. I did not purchase the FIRST - DAY DLC for ME 3. I REFUSED to give in to Bioware's tactic this time.

Fool be once Bioware - shame on me - fool me twice - shame on you!

Again people - I am begging you - PLEASE do not buy any DLC for the right ending! It should NEVER have even COME to this!

You have expressed my feelings exactly!  Thank you.  This deserves a bump!

I think that if Bioware ends up making a quality DLC product then a true fan should not have an issue with buying it.

If it's crap, don't buy it. Simple as that. Bioware doesn't owe you anything though. I work as a personal trainer and every now and then a client won't like the session I give them but like Hell am I going to give them a free session just because they complain.

Just listen to yourself, you're indoctrinated, snap out of it!

My favorite unfinished mission was a great tease.
"Go to the elcor homeworld, Shepard and save them!  Watch their super-sweet VI/Elcor army!!"

Nope.  All we had to do was look at the planet and return to the Elco diplomat.  That sucked.

I might be willing to buy dlc that heps Aria take back purgatory, or a mission that gives Shepard another go at that bastard, Kai Leng.  Other than that, they should keep the endings the same.  There is no recovering from that.

Who gives a rats'ass about multiplayer at this point? Out of so many people who bought the game so far, more than 80% are not even playing the single player, let alone the multiplayer.

I'm not paying anything untill we get the real endings. I am not alone on this - we are Legion.

I do really believe the ME3 ending was BioWare way of saying. "Hey lets not end it here, we can still get more money out of shepard's story!"

As far as I'm concerned the game is over. I spent 27+ hours building up assets and they didn't matter in any regard other than which beam I could fire.

The Medal of Honor reboot was much better than this sh**** at least in that game it ended with a idea there there is more to the story . but this game ends in such a illogical way the only way to fix it would be to do a reboot

guys i dont really know if its just stating the obvious or you figured out it too, but if that dream/halucination theory is true and real endings will be in DLC, or if BW listens and will make fixed ending DLC in future, IF its not free, DONT buy it. i know we all want to see this huge problem fixed, and some would even pay for it, but I saw this as some marketing test. if BW will succeed in ,lets say, 15 USD ending DLC, soon every company will start selling games in pieces. get us hooked to game and then BAM - "please pay 15 bucks to see how this amazing game ends". thank you for reading this

STOP!  seriously just STOP!

This ****ing and whining is getting out of hand...and frankly is more annoying than any bad ending.

If there is an extension to ME3 I'll gladly purchase it.

As consumers we hold the power here. If you really were dissatisfied with how it played out, don't buy it. The only reason they would sell you the "ending DLC" is to see if you would buy it. If you buy it, you're telling the developers and producers that it is ok to treat you this way. Now, if you're fine with being treated as such then by all means shell out the coin and enjoy your ending. If not, stand up and say no thanks. One way or another the message will be sent to EA/BW that this is either ok or not ok to do. Choose.

hell i would pay the full price of ME3 over again just to get a DLC ending pack, the story was so epic i think its bloody well worth it.
